Subtask 32-31-00-740-072-A
A. Test
(1) Do a BITE test of the LGCIU-1 AMM 32-69-00-740-001.
(2) If the failure message AFT CARGO DOOR HANDLE PROX SNSR 34WV is shown, do the fault isolation procedure in Para. 4.A.
4. Fault Isolation(1) Do a BITE test of the LGCIU-1 AMM 32-69-00-740-001.
(2) If the failure message AFT CARGO DOOR HANDLE PROX SNSR 34WV is shown, do the fault isolation procedure in Para. 4.A.
Subtask 32-31-00-810-082-A
A. Procedure
(1) Interchange the LGCIU 1 with LGCIU 2 AMM 32-31-71-000-001 and AMM 32-31-71-400-001.
(a) If there is no fault:
1 Put the LGCIUs back to their initial positions.
2 Replace the LGCIU-1 [5GA1] .
(b) If the fault continues, do step (2).
(a) If the 38-368-02 UNIT-TEST,SENSOR or the 38-368-03 UNIT-TEST,SENSOR is available, do the troubleshooting procedure of the proximity sensor32-31-00-03 TSM TASK 32-31-00-03 .
(b) If the 38-368-02 UNIT-TEST,SENSOR or the 38-368-03 UNIT-TEST,SENSOR is not available, continue the test.
(c) Release the electrical-connector from the PROX SW-HANDLE, AFT CARGO COMPT DOOR [34WV] .
(d) Use the MULTIMETER - STANDARD and do a check of the resistance between pins A and B of the proximity sensor ASM 315405. Make sure that the resistance is:
(f) Make sure that the resistance is more than 400 Megohms.
(g) Connect the connector disconnected in step (c).
(3) If one of the checks in step (2) is unsatisfactory, replace the PROX SW-HANDLE, AFT CARGO COMPT DOOR [34WV] AMM 52-71-12-000-001 and AMM 52-71-12-400-001.
(4) Do the test in Para. 3.A:
(a) Do a check of the wiring between the proximity sensor electrical-connector and the LGCIU 1 ARINC tray ASM 315405.
(6) Do the test in Para. 3.A.
NOTE: The aft cargo door handle proximity switch is connected only to the LGCIU 1 position.
(2) Get access to the PROX SW-HANDLE, AFT CARGO COMPT DOOR [34WV] AMM 52-71-12-000-001. (a) If the 38-368-02 UNIT-TEST,SENSOR or the 38-368-03 UNIT-TEST,SENSOR is available, do the troubleshooting procedure of the proximity sensor
- Between 11 and 13 ohms for a ferrite proximity sensor (PN 8-484-01)
- Between 15 and 17 ohms for an all metal proximity sensor (PN 8-933-01).
- If the fault continues do step (5).
(a) Do a check of the wiring between the proximity sensor electrical-connector and the LGCIU 1 ARINC tray ASM 315405.
(6) Do the test in Para. 3.A.
