No Data from CFDIU. Interactive Mode Selection & Monitor Sequence Fault

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

Subtask 32-31-00-710-050-A
A. Test
   (1) This task is for the fault as reported in the "LAST LEG REPORT" by the LGCIU-1 (2) and is valid only if there are "NO" reported CFDIU faults.
   (2) On the A/C, set the MCDU to the interactive mode (MENU MODE) and access the L/G SYSTEM REPORT. The fault confirmation is that the SYSTEM REPORT is not available.

Subtask 32-31-00-810-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. LGCIU Reset and Initialization.
   (1) Do a reset of the LGCIU-1(2):
     (a) To do a reset of LGCIU-1 (5GA1):
       1 Open the circuit breakers that follow:
  • 1GA
  • 52GA.
       2 Wait for a minimum of 15 seconds.
       3 Close the circuit breakers that follow:
  • 1GA
  • 52GA.
     (b) To do a reset of LGCIU-2 (5GA2):
       1 Open the circuit breaker that follows:
  • 2GA.
       2 Wait for a minimum of 15 seconds.
       3 Close the circuit breaker that follows:
  • 2GA.
   (2) Examine the ECAM for the fault warning:
     (a) If the fault warning on the ECAM clears, set the MCDU to MENU MODE and access the L/G SYSTEM REPORT.
   (3) If the SYSTEM REPORT is available, dialog is available and the LGCIU-1 (2) is reset and the ECAM fault warning clears.
   (4) Do GROUND SCANNING and make sure the fault condition is cleared from the ground log.
   (5) If you cannot set the SYSTEM REPORT for the LGCIU-1, do the procedure for the CFDIU switching to back-up mode AMM 31-32-00-869-001.
NOTE: This procedure is not available for the LGCIU-2.
   (6) Do the procedure at Para. 4.B.(1). If dialog is not available, replace the LGCIU-1 [5GA1] AMM 32-31-71-000-001 and AMM 32-31-71-400-001.
   (7) Do the procedure at Para 4.B.(1) to reset the LGCIU-1 and to clear the ECAM warning.
   (8) If you cannot set the SYSTEM REPORT for LGCIU-2:
     (a) Remove ground power.
     (b) Interchange LGCIU-1 with LGCIU-2 AMM 32-31-71-000-001 and AMM 32-31-71-400-001.
     (c) Do the procedure for CFDIU switching to back-up mode AMM 31-32-00-869-001.
     (d) Do the Para. 4.B.(1).
   (9) If the SYSTEM REPORT is not available, replace the LGCIU-2 [5GA2] AMM 32-31-71-000-001 and AMM 32-31-71-400-001.
   (10) Install the LGCIU-1 in its initial location AMM 32-31-71-000-001 and AMM 32-31-71-400-001.
   (11) Do the steps at Para.4.B.(1) again to reset the LGCIU-2 and clear the ECAM warning.
   (12) If the fault stays, do the TSM procedure 'LGCIU BITE Test Not Possible' (Ref. TSM TASK 32-31-00-810-839).
   (13) If the fault stays, do the CFDIU BITE AMM 31-32-00-740-002:
     (a) If the CFDIU BITE shows a fault condition, do the CFDIU Trouble Shooting (Refer to TSM 31-32-00).
     (b) If the CFDIU shows a "NO" fault condition, do a check of the A/C wiring/interface from the CFDIU ARINC tray to the LGCIU 1 (2) ARINC tray ASM 323102.

B. LGCIU Reset and Initialization.
   (1) Do a reset of the LGCIU-1 (2):
     (a) To do a reset of LGCIU-1 (5GA1):
       1 Open the circuit breakers that follow:
  • 1GA
  • 52GA.
       2 Wait for a minimum of 15 seconds.
       3 Close the circuit breakers that follow:
  • 1GA
  • 52GA.
     (b) To do a reset of LGCIU-2 (5GA2):
       1 Open the circuit breaker that follows:
  • 2GA.
       2 Wait for a minimum of 15 seconds.
       3 Close the circuit breaker that follows:
  • 2GA.
   (2) Examine the ECAM for the fault warning:
     (a) If the fault warning on the ECAM clears, set the MCDU to MENU MODE and access the L/G SYSTEM REPORT.
   (3) If the SYSTEM REPORT is available, dialog is available and the LGCIU-1 (2) is reset and the ECAM fault warning clears.
   (4) Do GROUND SCANNING and make sure the fault condition is cleared from the ground log.
   (5) If dialog is not available, replace the LGCIU-1 [5GA1] AMM 32-31-71-000-001 and AMM 32-31-71-400-001.
   (6) Do the procedure at Para 4.B.(1) to reset the LGCIU-1 and to clear the ECAM warning.
   (7) Set the SYSTEM REPORT for LGCIU-2.
   (8) Do the Para. 4.B.(1).
   (9) If the SYSTEM REPORT is not available, replace the LGCIU-2 [5GA2] AMM 32-31-71-000-001 and AMM 32-31-71-400-001.
   (10) Do the steps at Para.4.B.(1) again to reset the LGCIU-2 and clear the ECAM warning.
   (11) If the fault stays, do the TSM procedure 'LGCIU BITE Test Not Possible' (Ref. TSM TASK 32-31-00-810-839).
   (12) If the fault stays, do the CFDIU BITE AMM 31-32-00-740-002:
     (a) If the CFDIU BITE shows a fault condition, do the CFDIU Trouble Shooting (Refer to TSM 31-32-00).
     (b) If the CFDIU shows a "NO" fault condition, do a check of the A/C wiring/interface from the CFDIU ARINC tray to the LGCIU 1 (2) ARINC tray ASM 323102.
