A. Test
Do the BITE test of the radio altimeter 2 AMM 34-42-00-740-002.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 31-63-82-810-170-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the test gives the maintenance message DMC2(1WT2)/RA2(2SA2)
  • Do the switching of the RA 2 to the DMC 3:
    On the switching panel 8VU, set the EIS DMC selector switch to F/O/3.
  • Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
   (1) If the test is correct:
     (a) If the fault continues:
  • Remove the DMC 2.
  • Do a check and repair the aircraft wiring from the DMC 2 pins AA/5J, 5K to the first terminal block ASM 316201.
  • Install the DMC 2.
   (2) If the test is incorrect:
     (a) If the fault continues:
  • Remove the RA transceiver 2.
  • Do a check and repair the aircraft wiring from the RA transceiver 2 pins AB/2G, 3G to the first terminal block ASM 344202.
  • Install the RA transceiver 2.

A. If the test gives the maintenance message DMC2(1WT2)/RA2(2SA2)
  • Do the switching of the RA 2 to the DMC 3:
    On the switching panel 8VU, set the EIS DMC selector switch to F/O/3.
  • Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
   (1) If the test is correct:
     (a) If the fault continues:
  • Remove the DMC 2.
  • Do a check and repair the aircraft wiring from the DMC 2 pins AA/7G, 7H to the first terminal block ASM 316201.
  • Install the DMC 2.
   (2) If the test is incorrect:
     (a) If the fault continues:
  • Remove the RA transceiver 2.
  • Do a check and repair the aircraft wiring from the RA transceiver 2 pins AB/2G, 3G to the first terminal block ASM 344202.
  • Install the RA transceiver 2.
