4. Fault Isolation

A. If an unwanted (spurious) warning/indication is shown on the ECAM diplay units:
(1) On the SWITCHING panel 8VU, set the EIS DMC selector switch to CAPT/3.
(a) If the warning/indication goes out of view:
1 On the overhead C/B panel 49VU, open the circuit breaker 10WT1 for 5 seconds then close it.
(b) If the warning/indication stays in view:

On the SWITCHING panel 8VU, set the EIS DMC selector switch to F/O/3.

1 If the warning/indication goes out of view:

On the rear C/B panel 121VU, open the circuit breaker 10WT2 for 5 seconds then close it.

2 If the warning/indication stays in view:
a On the overhead C/B panel 121VU, open the circuit breaker 10WT3 for 5 seconds then close it.
b On the rear C/B panel 49VU, open the circuit breaker 21WT3 for 5 seconds then close it.

B. If the fault continues:
(1) After the subsequent flight, if the fault continues on the same DMC:

Replace it: DMC-1 [1WT1] or DMC-2 [1WT2] or DMC-3 [1WT3] , AMM 31-63-34-000-001 and AMM 31-63-34-400-001.
