3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 31-63-82-860-102-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Job Set-up
   (1) Do the EIS start procedure AMM 31-60-00-860-001.
  • Set the selector switch EIS DMC-SEL SW (18WT) on CAPT/3 position
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 31-63-82-810-121-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Make sure that:
  • the INVALID DATA message is shown on the CAPT PFD DU and on the CAPT ND DU
  • the ECAM warning EIS DMC 3 FAULT is shown on the upper ECAM display
   (1) Replace the DMC-3 [1WT3] AMM 31-63-34-000-001 and AMM 31-63-34-400-001.
   (2) If the fault continues:
  • Make sure that there is 115VAC on the pin AC-2 of the DMC3(1WT3)
     (a) If there is no 115VAC at pin AC-2:
  • check and repair the wiring from the DMC3(1WT3) pin AC-2 to the pin A2 of the switching relay - DMC3 (26WT)
       1 if there is continuity:
  • make sure there is 115VAC on the pins A1 and A3 of the relay SWTG-DM3 (26WT) ASM 316201
    . if there is no 115VAC on the pin A1 of the relay
  • check and repair the wiring from the switching relay-DMC3 (26WT) pin A1 to the EIS DMC3 STBY/SPLY circuit breaker (14WT1)
    . . if there is no continuity from the relay 26WT to the C/B 14WT1:
  • replace the C/B-EIS/DMC3/STBY/SPLY [14WT1] ASM 316102
    . if there is no 115VAC on the pin A3 of the relay
  • check and repair the wiring from the switching relay-DMC3 (26WT) pin A3 to the EIS DMC3/SPLY circuit breaker (10WT3)
    . . if there is no continuity from the relay 26WT to the C/B 10WT3:
  • replace the C/B-EIS/DMC3/SPLY [10WT3] ASM 316102
    . if there is 115VAC on pins A1 and A3 of the switching relay-DMC3 (26WT):
  • replace the RELAY-BUS1 TO ESS BUS SWTG, DMC3 [26WT] ASM 316102
     (b) If there is 115VAC at pin AC-2 of the DMC3:
  • Make sure that there is a ground signal at pin AC-7 of the DMC3(1WT3)
       1 if there is no ground signal:
  • repair the wiring from the DMC3 (1WT3) pin AC-7 to the ground terminal ASM 316201.
