A. Job Set-up
   (1) Do the EIS start procedure AMM 31-60-00-860-001.
   (2) When the images come into view on the six display units:
  • set the ECAM/ND XFR selector switch (19WT) on the panel 8VU to F/O.

Make sure that the transfer is not possible.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 31-63-82-810-070-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the EIS DMC selector switch (18WT) is at NORM and if you cannot get the ECAM DU image on the F/O ND:
  • replace the SEL SW-ECAM/ND XFR [19WT] .
   (1) If the fault continues:
  • do a check for a ground signal at pins AB/4B, 8J of the DMC2(1WT2).
     (a) If there is no ground signal:
  • do a check for a ground signal at pin 5 of the ECAM/ND XFR selector switch (19WT).
       1 If there is no ground signal:
  • repair the wiring from ECAM/ND XFR selector switch (19WT) pin 5 to the ground terminal ASM 316803.
       2 If there is a ground signal:
  • do a check and repair the wiring from ECAM/ND XFR selector switch (19WT) pin 6 to DMC2 (1WT2) pin AB/4B, 8J.
     (b) If there is a ground signal:

B. If the EIS DMC selector switch (18WT) is at F/O/3 and if you cannot get the ECAM DU image on the F/O ND:
  • replace the SEL SW-ECAM/ND XFR [19WT] .
   (1) If the fault continues:
  • do a check for a ground signal at pin AB/4B of the DMC3 (1WT3)
     (a) If there is no ground signal:
  • do a check for a ground signal at pin 5 of the ECAM/ND XFR selector switch (19WT).
       1 If there is no ground signal:
  • repair the wiring from ECAM/ND XFR selector switch (19WT) pin 5 to the ground terminal ASM 316803.
       2 If there is a ground signal:
  • do a check and repair the wiring from ECAM/ND XFR selector switch (19WT) pin 6 to DMC3 (1WT3) pin AB/4B.
     (b) If there is a ground signal:
  • do a check for a ground signal at pin AB/8J of the DMC3 (1WT3).
       1 If there is no ground signal:
  • do a check for a ground signal at pin 13 of the EIS DMC selector switch (18WT).
         a If there is no ground signal:
  • repair the wiring from EIS DMC selector switch (18WT) pin 13 to the ground terminal.
         b If there is a ground signal:
  • do a check and repair the wiring from ECAM/ND XFR selector switch (19WT):
    . pin 14 to EIS DMC selector switch (18WT) pin 14
    . pin 13 to DMC3 (1WT3) pin AB/8J.
       2 If there is a ground signal:

C. If the EIS-DMC selector switch (18WT) is at NORM and you cannot get the ECAM DU image on the F/O ND DU:
  • do a check for a ground signal at the pin AE-4D of the DMC2 (1WT2)
   (1) If there is a ground signal:

  • do a check and repair the wiring from the pin AE-4D of the DMC2 (1WT2) to the first terminal block ASM 316801

D. If the EIS-DMC selector switch (18WT) is at F/O/3 and you cannot get the ECAM DU image on the F/O ND DU:
  • do a check for a ground signal at the pin AE-4D of the DMC3 (1WT3)
   (1) If there is a ground signal:
   (2) If there is no ground signal :
  • do a check and repair the wiring from the pin AE-4D of the DMC3 (1WT3) to the first terminal block ASM 316803

E. If you cannot get the image at the F/O ND DU when the EIS DMC selector switch (18WT) is at NORM or at F/O/3 position:
  • do a check for a ground signal at the pin 5 of the ECAM/ND XFR selector switch (19WT)
   (1) If there is no ground signal :
  • do a check and repair the wiring from the pin 5 of the ECAM/ND XFR selector switch (19WT) to the first terminal block ASM 316803
   (2) If there is a ground signal:
  • do a check and repair the wiring from the pin 8 of the ECAM/ND XFR selector switch (19WT) to the first terminal block ASM 316801
     (a) If the wiring is correct:
  • replace the SEL SW-ECAM/ND XFR [19WT] .

F. Set the ECAM/ND XFR selector switch (19WT) to F/O and make sure that the transfer is possible.
