A. Reset the DU
(1) On the F/O LIGHTING/LOUD SPEAKER control panel (500VU):

turn the PFD potentiometer to the OFF position then to the BRT middle position. If the DISPLAY SYSTEM VERSION INCONSISTENCY message is not shown on the F/O PFD DU
no maintenance action is necessary.

(a) If the DISPLAY SYSTEM VERSION INCONSISTENCY message is shown on the F/O PFD DU

do the following test.

Do the EIS System Test AMM 31-60-00-740-004

4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message INVALID LRU IDENT:

Do the LRU Identification Check AMM 31-60-00-740-011

(1) Make sure that the EIS software P/N of the F/O PFD DU is the same as the EIS software P/N on the microdisk that is in the storage box.
(a) If the part numbers are the same:

replace the PFD-F/O [2WT2] AMM 31-63-22-000-001 AMM 31-63-22-400-001

(b) If the part numbers are not the same:

do the crossloading of the DMC2 to the F/O PFD DU AMM 31-60-00-610-002

B. Do the test given in Para. 3.A
