A. If the test gives the maintenance message:
DMC3 - DU ND1 LINK

on the panel 301VU, push the CAPT PFD/ND XFR pushbutton switch (9WT1) to get the ND image on the CAPT PFD
do the test given in Para. 3.

(1) If this test gives the maintenance message:
DMC3 - DU ND1 LINK

(a) If the fault continues:

do a check of the wiring from DMC1 (1WT1) pins AB/9B, 9C to the first terminal block ASM 316104.

1 If there is no continuity:

2 If there is continuity:

do a check of the wiring from DMC1 (1WT1) pins AB/9D, 9E to the first terminal block ASM 316104.

a If there is no continuity:

b If there is continuity:

do a check and repair the wiring from the DMC1 (1WT1) to the DMC3 (1WT3):
. pins AB/9F, 9G to pins AB/10D, 10E
. pins AB/9H, 9J to pins AB/10B, 10C ASM 316104.

(2) If this test gives no maintenance message:

(a) If the fault continues:

do a check of the wiring from CAPT ND (3WT1) pins AA/35, 36 to the first terminal block ASM 316104.

do a check and repair the wiring from CAPT ND (3WT1) pins AA/38, 39 to the first terminal block ASM 316104.
