A. Test
Do the EIS input test AMM 31-60-00-740-002.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 31-63-81-810-078-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the test gives the maintenance message:
DMC1: ALT DSPLY ERR
  • on the panel 301VU, push the CAPT PFD/ND XFR pushbutton switch (9WT1) to get the PFD image on the CAPT ND
  • do the test given in Para. 3.
   (1) If this test gives the maintenance message:
DMC1: ALT DSPLY ERR
     (a) If the fault continues:
  • do a check of the wiring from DMC1 (1WT1) pins AB/9B, 9C to the first terminal block ASM 316104.
       1 If there is no continuity:
  • repair the wiring.
       2 If there is continuity:
  • do a check and repair the wiring from DMC1 (1WT1) pins AB/9D, 9E to the first terminal block ASM 316104.
   (2) If this test gives no maintenance message:
     (a) If the fault continues:
  • do a check of the wiring from CAPT PFD (2WT1) pins AA/35, 36 to the first terminal block ASM 316104.
       1 If there is no continuity:
  • repair the wiring.
       2 If there is continuity:
  • do a check and repair the wiring from CAPT PFD (2WT1) pins AA/38, 39 to the first terminal block ASM 316104.

B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
