A. If the EIS DMC selector switch (18WT) on the SWITCHING panel (8VU) is at CAPT/3 and if the test gives the maintenance message DMC3-DU ECAM1 LINK:

on the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY potentiometer to OFF and do the test given in Para. 3.

(1) If this test gives the maintenance message DMC3-DU ECAM1 LINK:

(a) If the fault continues:

do a check of the wiring from DMC1 (1WT1) pins AB/11B, 11C to the first terminal block ASM 316104.

1 If there is no continuity:

2 If there is continuity:

do a check and repair the wiring from DMC1 (1WT1) pins AB/11D, 11E to the first terminal block.

a If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring from the DMC1 (1WT1) to the DMC3 (1WT3):
. pins AB/11H, 11J to pins AB/11B, 11C
. pins AB/11F, 11G to pins AB/11D, 11E.

(2) If this test gives no maintenance message:

(a) If the fault continues:

do a check of the wiring from upper ECAM DU (4WT1) pins AA/35, 36 to the first terminal block ASM 316104.

1 If there is no continuity:

2 If there is continuity:

do a check and repair the wiring from upper ECAM DU (4WT1) pins AA/38, 39 to the first terminal block.
