A. If the test gives the maintenance message:
DMC2: PROGRAM PIN
or
DMC2: POSITION PIN

DMC2: POSITION PIN
- do a check for ground signals at DMC 2 (1WT2) connector AB AWM 316129.
- repair the wiring.
- replace the DMC-2 [1WT2] AMM 31-63-34-000-001 and AMM 31-63-34-400-001.
A. If the test gives the maintenance message WRG:PIN PROG/DMC2 (1WT2):
(1) Get access to the hard pin-prog page of the DMC 2 on the MCDU page:
(a) Get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/INST page AMM 31-32-00-860-008.
(b) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the EIS 2 indication: the DMC 2 main menu page comes into view.
(c) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the PIN PROG/STATUS AND XLOAD indication : the DMC 2 PIN PROG/STATUS AND XLOAD page comes into view.
(d) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the PIN PROG indication: the DMC 2 PIN PROG page comes into view.
(e) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the HARD PIN PROG indication: the HARD PIN PROG of the DMC 2 and associated DUs page comes into view.
(f) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the DMC 2 indication: the hard pin prog status of the DMC 2 comes into view.
(2) Compare the hard pin prog of the DMC 2 with the state of the aircraft pin programming given in the AWM AWM 316129.
Subtask 31-63-81-740-051-A (1) Get access to the hard pin-prog page of the DMC 2 on the MCDU page:
(a) Get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/INST page AMM 31-32-00-860-008.
(b) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the EIS 2 indication: the DMC 2 main menu page comes into view.
(c) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the PIN PROG/STATUS AND XLOAD indication : the DMC 2 PIN PROG/STATUS AND XLOAD page comes into view.
(d) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the PIN PROG indication: the DMC 2 PIN PROG page comes into view.
(e) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the HARD PIN PROG indication: the HARD PIN PROG of the DMC 2 and associated DUs page comes into view.
(f) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the DMC 2 indication: the hard pin prog status of the DMC 2 comes into view.
(2) Compare the hard pin prog of the DMC 2 with the state of the aircraft pin programming given in the AWM AWM 316129.
- remove the DMC-2 [1WT2] , AMM 31-63-34-000-001
- do a check of the defective pin(s) on the rack connector .
- repair the aircraft wiring
- install the DMC 2 AMM 31-63-34-400-001.
- install a new DMC 2 AMM 31-63-34-400-001.
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
