Do the ground scanning of the central warning systems AMM 31-50-00-710-001.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 31-54-00-810-162-A

A. If the test gives the maintenance message SDAC 1 : RUDDER POS XDCR 42WV:

do a check for 26VAC at pin A/A of the rudder position transducer unit (42WV) ASM 315408.

(1) If there is 26VAC:

(2) If there is no 26VAC:

do a check for a ground signal at pin A/B of the rudder position transducer unit (42WV) ASM 315408.

(a) If there is no ground signal:

repair the wiring between rudder position transducer unit (42WV) pin A/B and the ground terminal ASM 315408.

(b) If there is a ground signal:

do a check of the wiring from rudder position transducer unit (42WV) pin A/A to the first terminal block ASM 315408.

a If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring from rudder position transducer unit (42WV) pins A/G, H, D, E to the first terminal block ASM 315408.
