3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 31-36-00-740-172-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Do the FDIMU (10TV) fault monitoring test (AIDS-part) AMM 31-36-00-740-012.

NOTE: Make sure that the circuit breakers 5TV, 10CA2 on the panel 121VU and 10CA1 on the panel 49VU are closed during the test.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 31-36-00-810-114-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the test gives the maintenance message:

FMCG1 (1CA1) / FDIMU (10TV), (Detailed message text: FMC BUS FAIL) or
FMCG1 (1CA1) / FDIMU (10TV), (Detailed message text: FGC BUS FAIL) or
FMCG2 (1CA2) / FDIMU (10TV), (Detailed message text: FMC BUS FAIL) or
FMCG2 (1CA2) / FDIMU (10TV), (Detailed message text: FGC BUS FAIL)

(1) Do the operational test of the flight data management and guidance system AMM 22-96-00-710-001.

(a) If the test gives a different maintenance message, you can find the related trouble shooting procedure in the applicable Page Block 201.

(2) If the fault continues:

do a check and if necessary repair the wiring between the FMGC-1 [1CA1] or FMGC-2 [1CA2] and the DMU/FDIU (FDIMU) [10TV] ASM 313701:

FMGC 1 Connector AB/10A to FDIMU Connector AA/1E
FMGC 1 Connector AB/10B to FDIMU Connector AA/1F
FMGC 1 Connector AB/12A to FDIMU Connector AA/7C
FMGC 1 Connector AB/12B to FDIMU Connector AA/7D
or
FMGC 2 Connector AB/10A to FDIMU Connector AB/1E
FMGC 2 Connector AB/10B to FDIMU Connector AB/1F
FMGC 2 Connector AB/12A to FDIMU Connector AB/7C
FMGC 2 Connector AB/12B to FDIMU Connector AB/7D

(3) If the fault continues:

replace the FDIMU (10TV) AMM 31-36-34-000-002 and AMM 31-36-34-400-002.
