A. If the fault identified by the crew observation:
MCDU 1 and MCDU 2 shows AIDS (TIME OUT)
(1) Do the DMU (1TV) Fault Monitoring Test AMM 31-36-00-710-001.
(a) If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
(2) If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the aircraft wiring from the MCDU 1 (3CA1), MCDU 2 (3CA2), CFDIU (1TW) and Printer (4TW) to the DMU (1TV) ASM 313601:
MCDU 1 Connector 11 to DMU Connector AA/11E
MCDU 1 Connector 12 to DMU Connector AA/11F
MCDU 2 Connector 11 to DMU Connector AA/11E
MCDU 2 Connector 12 to DMU Connector AA/11F
CFDIU Connector AB/3F to DMU Connector AA/11E
CFDIU Connector AB/3G to DMU Connector AA/11F
Printer Connector C to DMU Connector AA/11E
Printer Connector D to DMU Connector AA/11F

(3) If the fault continues:

replace the DMU [1TV] AMM 31-36-34-000-001 and AMM 31-36-34-400-001.

(4) If the fault continues:

do the fault isolation procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 31-32-00-810-934) of the MCDU 1 (3CA1), MCDU 2 (3CA2), CFDIU (1TW) and Printer (4TW).

B. Do the DMU (1TV) Fault Monitoring Test AMM 31-36-00-710-001 to check the correct operation (no maintenance message is shown).

(1) Do the FDIMU (10TV) Fault Monitoring Test AMM 31-36-00-740-012.
(a) If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
(2) If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the aircraft wiring from the MCDU 1 (3CA1), MCDU 2 (3CA2), CFDIU (1TW) and Printer (4TW) to the FDIMU (10TV) ASM 313601:

MCDU 1 Connector 11 to FDIMU Connector AA/11E
MCDU 1 Connector 12 to FDIMU Connector AA/11F
MCDU 2 Connector 11 to FDIMU Connector AA/11E
MCDU 2 Connector 12 to FDIMU Connector AA/11F
CFDIU Connector AB/3F to FDIMU Connector AA/11E
CFDIU Connector AB/3G to FDIMU Connector AA/11F
Printer Connector C to FDIMU Connector AA/11E
Printer Connector D to FDIMU Connector AA/11F

(3) If the fault continues:

replace the DMU/FDIU (FDIMU) [10TV] AMM 31-36-34-000-002 and AMM 31-36-34-400-002.

(4) If the fault continues:

do the fault isolation procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 31-32-00-810-934) of the MCDU 1 (3CA1), MCDU 2 (3CA2), CFDIU (1TW) and Printer (4TW).

D. Do the FDIMU (10TV) Fault Monitoring Test AMM 31-36-00-740-012 to check the correct operation (no maintenance message is shown).
