on the MCDU get access to the CFDS Trouble Shooting Page of the DMU (MCDU MENU / CFDS / INST / DMU / TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA).
print out (PRINT) or notice the Trouble Shooting Data.

NOTE: For further work on the PCMCIA card you can find following messages under the topic DETAILED REASON on the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA page:
* Invalid PCMCIA Media inserted
* Disk Formate Error
* Disk Access Error
* No Disk inserted (#)
* Disk full (#)
