B. Test
(1) Read the AVIONICS STATUS on the MCDU AMM 31-32-00-740-009.
(2) Do the CIDS BITE test through the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-740-005.
Subtask 31-32-00-740-220-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Read the AVIONICS STATUS on the MCDU AMM 31-32-00-740-009.
(2) Do the CIDS BITE test through the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-740-005.
B. Test
(1) Read the AVIONICS STATUS on the MCDU AMM 31-32-00-740-009.
(2) Do the BITE test of the Cabin Intercommunication Data system through the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-740-005.
(3) Make sure that there is no INOP SYS, no MAINTENANCE STATUS or no ECAM warning related to the NO CIDS 1 DATA maintenance message.
4. Fault Isolation(1) Read the AVIONICS STATUS on the MCDU AMM 31-32-00-740-009.
(2) Do the BITE test of the Cabin Intercommunication Data system through the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-740-005.
(3) Make sure that there is no INOP SYS, no MAINTENANCE STATUS or no ECAM warning related to the NO CIDS 1 DATA maintenance message.
Subtask 31-32-00-810-137-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the test gives the maintenance message NO CIDS 1 DATA and if the CIDS BITE test gives the CIDS1 (ACT.) menu:
Subtask 31-32-00-810-137-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - swap the DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] and DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001 and AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
- read the AVIONICS STATUS on the MCDU AMM 31-32-00-740-009.
- replace the CFDIU [1TW] AMM 31-32-34-000-001 and AMM 31-32-34-400-001.
- do a check and repair the
wiring from the CFDIU (1TW) to the CIDS director 1 (101RH) from pins AA/3F, 3G to pins AA/11A, 11B ASM 313204.
- replace the CIDS that you installed on side 2.
A. If the test gives the maintenance message NO CIDS 1 DATA and if the CIDS BITE test gives the CIDS1 (ACT.) menu:
Subtask 31-32-00-810-193-A - swap the DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] and DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001 and AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
- read the AVIONICS STATUS on the MCDU AMM 31-32-00-740-009.
- replace the CFDIU [1TW] AMM 31-32-34-000-001 and AMM 31-32-34-400-001.
- do a check and repair the
wiring from the CFDIU (1TW) to the CIDS director 1 (101RH) from pins AA/3F, 3G to pins AA/11A, 11B ASM 313204.
- replace the CIDS that you installed on side 2.
B. If the test gives the maintenance message NO CIDS 1 DATA and if the CIDS BITE test gives the CIDS1 (PAS.) menu:
Subtask 31-32-00-740-221-A - replace the DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001 and AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
- do a check and repair the
wiring from the CFDIU (1TW) to the CIDS director 1 (101RH) from pins AA/3F, 3G to pins AA/11A, 11B ASM 313204.
C. Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
