Loss of the L Ice Detector
1. Possible Causes
- DET-ICE, L [2DD1]
wiring between pin A/7 of the L ice detector and the ground terminal wiring between pin A/1 of the L ice detector and the circuit breaker (4DD1) - C/B-ANTI ICE/ICE DET/L [4DD1]

B. If the test gives the maintenance message ICE DETECTOR 1:
Subtask 30-81-00-710-053-A - do a check of the status of the circuit breaker (4DD1).
- do a check for 115VAC at pin A/1 of the L ice detector (2DD1).
- replace the DET-ICE, L [2DD1] AMM 30-81-31-000-001 and AMM 30-81-31-400-001.
- do a check for a ground signal at pin A/7 of the L ice detector (2DD1):
- repair the
wiring between pin A/7 of the L ice detector and the ground terminal ASM 308101.
- do a check of the
wiring between pin A/1 of the L ice detector and the circuit breaker (4DD1) .
- repair the above wiring.
- replace the circuit breaker (4DD1).
- Do the procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 24-00-00-810-803).
- Replace the C/B-ANTI ICE/ICE DET/L [4DD1] .
- Replace the DET-ICE, L [2DD1] .
C. Do the operational test given in Para. 3.
