One or Both Wipers Running Continuously
CAUTION:
DO NOT OPERATE THE WIPERS WHEN THE WINDSHIELD IS DRY. PUT WATER ON THE WINDSHIELD WHEN THE WIPERS OPERATE.

B. If the test confirms the fault:
1 On the OVERHEAD CTL & IND panel 21VU (22VU), set the WIPER control switch to SLOW.
(3) If the fault continues:
- Do a check of the status of the ANTI ICE/WIPER/CAPT (4DB1) (ANTI ICE/F/O/WIPER (4DB2)) circuit breaker.
- Do a check for 28VDC at pin A of the MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, CAPT (6DB1) (MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, F/O (6DB2)) ASM 304501.
- Repair the wiring from pin 2 of the ANTI ICE/WIPER/CAPT (4DB1) (ANTI ICE/F/O/WIPER (4DB2)) circuit breaker to pin A of the MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, CAPT (6DB1) (MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, F/O (6DB2)).
1 On the OVERHEAD CTL & IND panel 21VU (22VU), set the WIPER control switch to SLOW.
- Do a check for ground at pin C of the MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, CAPT (6DB1) (MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, F/O (6DB2)).
- Do a check of the wiring from pin C of the MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, CAPT (6DB1) (MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, F/O (6DB2)) to pin 3 of the WIPER control switch, CAPT (5DB1) (WIPER control switch, F/O (5DB2)).
If there is no continuity: - Repair the above wiring .
If there is continuity: - Replace the CTL SW-WIPER, CAPT [5DB1] ( CTL SW-WIPER, F/O [5DB2] )
- Do the next step.
- Do a check for ground at pin E of the MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, CAPT (6DB1) (MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER (6DB2)).
- Do a check of the wiring from pin E of the MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, CAPT (6DB1)(MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, F/O (6DB2)) to pin 4 of the WIPER control switch, CAPT (5DB1) (WIPER control switch, F/O (5DB2)).
If there is no continuity: - Repair the above wiring .
If there is continuity: - Replace the CTL SW-WIPER, CAPT [5DB1] ( CTL SW-WIPER, F/O [5DB2] ).
- Replace the MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, CAPT [6DB1] ( MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, F/O [6DB2] ) AMM 30-45-51-000-001 and AMM 30-45-51-400-001.
- Do this trouble shooting procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 24-00-00-810-803).
(3) If the fault continues:
- Replace the MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, CAPT [6DB1] ( MOTOR CONVERTER-WIPER, F/O [6DB2] ) AMM 30-45-51-000-001 and AMM 30-45-51-400-001.
