A. Test
   (1) Do the operational test of the windshield anti-icing and defogging AMM 30-42-00-710-001.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 30-42-00-810-065-A
A. If the test gives the maintenance message R SLIDING WINDOW:
  • disconnect the connector from the R sliding window (8DG2) and do a check of the resistance between pin A and pin B.
NOTE: For right sliding window P/N NP165312 series,
F Heating Coat Resistance Versus Temperature - Sliding Window - P/N NP165312 series
For right sliding window P/N SPSA320 series 2 (with 2 sensors),
F Heating Coat Resistance Versus Temperature - Sliding Window - P/N SPSA320 series 2 (with 2 sensors)
For right sliding window P/N SPSA320 series 3 (with 3 sensors),
F Heating Coat Resistance Versus Temperature - Sliding Window - P/N SPSA320 series 3 (with 3 sensors)
For right sliding window P/N NH25216 series,
F Heating Coat Resistance Versus Temperature - Sliding Window - P/N NH25216 series
   (1) If the resistance is not correct:
   (2) If the resistance is correct:
     (a) Replace the WHC-2 [2DG2] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
     (b) If the fault continues:
  • do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC 2 (2DG2) to the R sliding window (8DG2) pin B/J to pin A/A ASM 304202.
