   (1) Do the operational test of the windshield anti-icing and defogging AMM 30-42-00-710-001.
NOTE: In some conditions, there can be a difference between the pin allocation of the reference ASM and AWM and the content of the TSM task.

B. If the test gives the maintenance message R FIXED WINDOW SENSOR associated with ECAM message ANTI-ICE R WINDSHIELD, or ANTI-ICE R WINDOW:
   (1) If the WHC2 PN 6664287 is installed and if the ECAM warning is triggered on ground with OAT greater than 40 deg.C or if the cockpit window/windshield is directly heading to the sun and air conditioning packs off:
  • operate the air conditioning packs
  • after 5 minutes, open and close circuit breaker 5DG2 to do a reset of the WHC2.
     (a) If the fault continues:
  • For fixed window P/N NH25216-series, go to para 4.C.
  • For fixed window P/N NP165313-series and SPSA320 series 1, go to para 4.D.
  • For fixed window P/N SPSA320 series 2, go to para 4.E.
   (2) If the WHC2 PN 6664287 is not installed:
  • For fixed window P/N NH25216-series, go to para 4.C.
  • For fixed window P/N NP165313-series and SPSA320 series 1, go to para 4.D.
  • For fixed window P/N SPSA320 series 2, go to para 4.E.
Subtask 30-42-00-810-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. For fixed window P/N NH25216-series, if the test gives maintenance message R FIXED WINDOW SENSOR:
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2) and do a check of the resistance between pin A/C and pin A/D on the receptacle of the R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2).
   (1) If the resistance is more than 715 ohms (open circuit) (OAT more than 40 deg. C) or less than 370 ohms (short circuit):
  • Do a check of the resistance of replacement sensor between pins A/E and A/F for correct value.
     (a) If the resistance of replacement sensor is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
  • Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-2 (2DG2) to pins A/E and A/F of replacement sensor AWM 304204 and ASM 304202.
     (b) If the resistance of replacement sensor is more than 715 ohms or less than 370 ohms:
     (c) If the fault continues:
     (d) If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC-2 (2DG2) to R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
   (2) If the resistance is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
  • Verify the correct value of the resistance of temperature sensor connected to the WHC-2 (7DG2) ASM 304202.
    For example, for OAT= 20 deg.C (68.00 deg.F) sensor value must be between 594 Ohms and 606 Ohms.
     (a) If the resistance is out of tolerance:
       1 Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
       2 If the resistance of sensor 3 is between 370 Ohms and 715 Ohms:
  • Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-2 (2DG2) to pins A/D and A/E of sensor 3 AWM 304204 and ASM 304202.
       3 If the resistance of sensor 3 is more than 715 Ohms or less than 370 Ohms:
     (b) If the resistance is within the tolerance:
       1 Replace WHC-2 [2DG2] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
       2 If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC-2 (2DG2) to R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/E and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
       3 If the fault continues:
Subtask 30-42-00-810-102-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
D. For fixed window P/N NP165313-series and SPSA320 series 1, if the test gives the maintenance message R FIXED WINDOW SENSOR:
   (1) If the resistance is more than 715 ohms (open circuit) or less than 370 ohms (short circuit):
     (a) If the resistance of the sensor 2 is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
  • Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC2 (2DG2) to pins A/E and A/F of the right fixed window (7DG2).
     (b) If the resistance of the sensor 2 is more than 715 ohms or less than 370 ohms:
       1 If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC2 (2DG2) to the right fixed window (7DG2), pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C ASM 304202.
   (2) If the resistance is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
     (a) Replace WHC-2 [2DG2] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
     (b) If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC2 (2DG2) to the right fixed window (7DG2), pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C ASM 304202.
Subtask 30-42-00-810-103-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
E. For fixed window P/N SPSA320 series 2, if the test gives maintenance message R FIXED WINDOW SENSOR:
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2) and do a check of the resistance between pin A/C and pin A/D on the receptacle of the R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2).
   (1) If the resistance is more than 715 ohms (open circuit) (OAT more than 40 deg. C) or less than 370 ohms (short circuit):
  • Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
     (a) If the resistance of the sensor 3 is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
  • Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-2 (2DG2) to pins A/D and A/E of sensor 3 AWM 304204 and ASM 304202.
     (b) If the resistance of sensor 3 is more than 715 ohms or less than 370 ohms:
       1 If the resistance of sensor 2 is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
  • Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-2 (2DG2) to pins A/E and A/F of sensor 2 AWM 304203 and ASM 304201.
       2 If the resistance of sensor 2 is more than 715 ohms or less than 370 ohms:

  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC-2 (2DG2) to R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/E and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
   (2) If the resistance is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
For example, for OAT= 20 deg.C (68.00 deg.F) sensor value must be between 594 Ohms and 606 Ohms.
     (a) If the resistance is out of tolerance:
       1 Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
       2 If the resistance of sensor 3 is between 370 Ohms and 715 Ohms:
  • Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-2 (2DG2) to pins A/D and A/E of sensor 3 AWM 304204 and ASM 304202.
       3 If the resistance of sensor 3 is more than 715 Ohms or less than 370 Ohms:
         a Make sure that the connector pins are not damaged.
         b Do a check of the resistance of the sensor 2 between pins A/E and A/F for correct value.
         c If the resistance of sensor 2 is correct:
  • Connect pins A/A and A/B of the WHC-2 (2DG2) to pins A/E and A/F of sensor 2 ASM 304202.
         d If the resistance of sensor 2 is not correct:
     (b) If the resistance is within the tolerance:
       1 Replace WHC-2 [2DG2] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
       2 If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC-2 (2DG2) to R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/E and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
       3 If the fault continues:
Subtask 30-42-00-810-064-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
F. If the test gives maintenance message R FIXED WINDOW SENSOR associated with ECAM message ANTI-ICE R WINDSHIELD, or ANTI-ICE R WINDOW:
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2) and do a check of the resistance between pin A/C and pin A/D on the receptacle of the R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2).
   (1) If the resistance is more than 715 ohms (open circuit) or less than 370 ohms (short circuit):
  • Do a check of the resistance of replacement sensor between pins A/E and A/F for correct value.
     (a) If the resistance of replacement sensor is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
  • Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-2 (2DG2) to pins A/E and A/F of replacement sensor AWM 304204 and ASM 304202.
     (b) If the resistance of replacement sensor is more than 715 ohms or less than 370 ohms:
     (c) If the fault continues:
     (d) If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC-2 (2DG2) to R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
   (2) If the resistance is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
  • Verify the correct value of the resistance of temperature sensor connected to the WHC-2 (7DG2) ASM 304202.
    For example, for OAT= 20 deg.C (68.00 deg.F) sensor value must be between 594 Ohms and 606 Ohms.
     (a) If the resistance is out of tolerance:
       1 Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
       2 If the resistance of sensor 3 is between 370 Ohms and 715 Ohms:
  • Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-2 (2DG2) to pins A/D and A/E of sensor 3 AWM 304204 and ASM 304202.
       3 If the resistance of sensor 3 is more than 715 Ohms or less than 370 Ohms:
     (b) If the resistance is within the tolerance:
       1 Replace WHC-2 [2DG2] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
       2 If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC-2 (2DG2) to R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/E and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
       3 If the fault continues:
Subtask 30-42-00-810-102-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
G. If the test gives the maintenance message R FIXED WINDOW SENSOR associated with ECAM message ANTI-ICE R WINDSHIELD, or ANTI-ICE R WINDOW:
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the right fixed window (7DG2) and do a check of the resistance between pins A/D and A/C on the receptacle of the right fixed window (7DG2) ASM 304202.
   (1) If the resistance is more than 715 ohms (open circuit) or less than 370 ohms (short circuit):
     (a) If the resistance of the sensor 2 is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
  • Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC2 (2DG2) to pins A/E and A/F of the right fixed window (7DG2).
     (b) If the resistance of the sensor 2 is more than 715 ohms or less than 370 ohms:
       1 If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC2 (2DG2) to the right fixed window (7DG2), pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C ASM 304202.
   (2) If the resistance is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
     (a) Replace WHC-2 [2DG2] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
     (b) If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC2 (2DG2) to the right fixed window (7DG2), pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C ASM 304202.
Subtask 30-42-00-810-103-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
H. If the test gives maintenance message R FIXED WINDOW SENSOR associated with ECAM message ANTI-ICE R WINDSHIELD, or ANTI-ICE R WINDOW:
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2) and do a check of the resistance between pin A/C and pin A/D on the receptacle of the R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2).
   (1) If the resistance is more than 715 ohms (open circuit) (OAT more than 40 deg. C) or less than 370 ohms (short circuit):
  • Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
     (a) If the resistance of sensor 3 is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
  • Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-2 (2DG2) to pins A/D and A/E of sensor 3 AWM 304204 and ASM 304202.
     (b) If the resistance of sensor 3 is more than 715 ohms or less than 370 ohms:
       1 If the resistance of sensor 2 is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
  • Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-2 (2DG2) to pins A/E and A/F of sensor 2 AWM 304203 and ASM 304201.
       2 If the resistance of sensor 2 is more than 715 ohms or less than 370 ohms:

  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC-2 (2DG2) to R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/E and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
   (2) If the resistance is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
  • Verify the correct value of the resistance of temperature sensor connected to the WHC-2 (7DG2) ASM 304202.
    For example, for OAT= 20 deg.C (68.00 deg.F) sensor value must be between 594 Ohms and 606 Ohms.
     (a) If the resistance is out of tolerance:

  • Connect pins A/A and A/B of the WHC-2 (2DG2) to pins A/E and A/F of sensor ASM 304202.
         d If the resistance of sensor 2 is not correct:
     (b) If the resistance is within the tolerance:
       1 Replace WHC-2 [2DG2] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
       2 If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC-2 (2DG2) to R FIXED WINDOW (7DG2) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/E and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
       3 If the fault continues:
