A. Test
   (1) Do the operational test of the windshield anti-icing and defogging AMM 30-42-00-710-001.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 30-42-00-810-060-A
A. If the test gives maintenance message L SLIDING WINDOW:
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the L sliding window (8DG1) and do a check of the resistance between pin A and pin B on the receptacle of the L sliding window (8DG1).
NOTE: For left sliding window P/N NP165312 series,
F Heating Coat Resistance Versus Temperature - Sliding Window - P/N NP165312 series
For left sliding window P/N SPSA320 series 2 (with 2 sensors),
F Heating Coat Resistance Versus Temperature - Sliding Window - P/N SPSA320 series 2 (with 2 sensors)
For left sliding window P/N SPSA320 series 3 (with 3 sensors),
F Heating Coat Resistance Versus Temperature - Sliding Window - P/N SPSA320 series 3 (with 3 sensors)
For left sliding window P/N NH25216 series,
F Heating Coat Resistance Versus Temperature - Sliding Window - P/N NH25216 series
   (1) If the resistance is not correct:
   (2) If the resistance is correct:
     (a) Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
     (b) If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC 1 (2DG1) to L sliding window (8DG1) pin B/J to pin A/A ASM 304201.
