B. If the test gives the maintenance message L FIXED WINDOW SENSOR associated with ECAM message ANTI-ICE L WINDSHIELD, or ANTI-ICE L WINDOW:
(1) If the WHC1 PN 6664287 is installed and if the ECAM warning is triggered on ground with OAT greater than 40 deg.C or if the cockpit window/windshield is directly heading to the sun and air conditioning packs off:
Subtask 30-42-00-810-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If the WHC1 PN 6664287 is installed and if the ECAM warning is triggered on ground with OAT greater than 40 deg.C or if the cockpit window/windshield is directly heading to the sun and air conditioning packs off:
- operate the air conditioning packs
- after 5 minutes, open and close circuit breaker 5DG1 to do a reset of the WHC1.
- For fixed window P/N NH25216-series, go to para 4.C.
- For fixed window P/N NP165313-series and SPSA320 series 1, go to para 4.D.
- For fixed window P/N SPSA320 series 2, go to para 4.E.
- For fixed window P/N NH25216-series, go to para 4.C.
- For fixed window P/N NP165313-series and SPSA320 series 1, go to para 4.D.
- For fixed window P/N SPSA320 series 2, go to para 4.E.
C. For fixed window P/N NH25216-series, if the test gives maintenance message L FIXED WINDOW SENSOR:
(a) If the resistance is out of tolerance:
1 Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
2 If the resistance of sensor 3 is between 370 Ohms and 715 Ohms:
1 Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
2 If the fault continues:
Subtask 30-42-00-810-098-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - Disconnect the electrical connector from the L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) and do a check of the resistance between pins A/C and A/D on the receptacle of the L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1).
- Do a check of the resistance of replacement sensor between pins A/E and A/F for correct value.
- Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-1 (2DG1) to pins A/E and A/F of replacement sensor AWM 304203 and ASM 304201.
- Replace WINDOW-FIXED, L [7DG1] , AMM 56-11-12-000-001 and AMM 56-11-12-400-002.
- Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
- Do a check and repair the
wiring from the WHC-1 (2DG1) to L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
- Verify the correct value of the resistance of temperature sensor connected to the L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) ASM 304201.
(a) If the resistance is out of tolerance:
1 Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
2 If the resistance of sensor 3 is between 370 Ohms and 715 Ohms:
- Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-1 (2DG1) to pins A/D and A/E of sensor 3 AWM 304203 and ASM 304201.
- Replace WINDOW-FIXED, L [7DG1] , AMM 56-11-12-000-001 and AMM 56-11-12-400-002.
1 Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
2 If the fault continues:
- Do a check and repair the
wiring from the WHC-1 (2DG1) to L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) pins B/U and B/V topins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/E and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F. - Replace WINDOW-FIXED, L [7DG1] , AMM 56-11-12-000-001 and AMM 56-11-12-400-002.
D. For fixed window P/N NP165313-series and SPSA320 series 1, if the test gives the maintenance message L SLIDING WINDOW SENSOR:
(a) Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
(b) If the fault continues:
Subtask 30-42-00-810-099-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - Disconnect the electrical connector from the left fixed window (7DG1) and do a check of the resistance between pins A/C and A/D on the receptacle of the left fixed window (7DG1) ASM 304201.
- Do a check of the resistance of the sensor 2 between pins A/E and A/F of the
left fixed window (7DG1) AWM 304203.
- Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC1 (2DG1) to pins A/E and A/F of the left fixed window (7DG1).
- Replace the WINDOW-FIXED, L [7DG1] AMM 56-12-12-000-001 and AMM 56-12-12-400-002.
- Do a check and repair the
wiring from the WHC1 (2DG1) to the left fixed window (7DG1) , pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C ASM 304201.
(a) Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
(b) If the fault continues:
- Do a check and repair the
wiring from the WHC1 (2DG1) to the left fixed window (7DG1) , pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/c ASM 304201.
E. For fixed window P/N SPSA320 series 2, if the test gives maintenance message L FIXED WINDOW SENSOR:
1 Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
2 If the resistance of sensor 3 is between 370 Ohms and 715 Ohms:
a Make sure that the connector pins are not damaged.
b Do a check of the resistance of sensor 2 between pins A/E and A/F for correct value.
c If the resistance of sensor 2 is correct:
1 Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
2 If the fault continues:
Subtask 30-42-00-810-059-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - Disconnect the electrical connector from the L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) and do a check of the resistance between pins A/C and A/D on the receptacle of the L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1).
- Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
- Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-1 (2DG1) to pins A/D and A/E of sensor 3 AWM 304203 and ASM 304201.
- Do a check of the resistance of sensor 2 between pins A/E and A/F for correct value.
- Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-1 (2DG1) to pins A/E and A/F of sensor 2 AWM 304203 and ASM 304201.
- Replace WINDOW-FIXED, L [7DG1] , AMM 56-11-12-000-001 and AMM 56-11-12-400-002.
- Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
- Do a check and repair the
wiring from the WHC-1 (2DG1) to L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/E and pins B/U to B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
- Verify the correct value of the resistance of temperature sensor connected to the WHC-1 (7DG1) ASM 304201.
For example, for OAT= 20 deg.C (68.00 deg.F) the sensor value must be between 594 Ohms and 606 Ohms.
1 Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
2 If the resistance of sensor 3 is between 370 Ohms and 715 Ohms:
- Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-1 (2DG1) to pins A/D and A/E of sensor 3 AWM 304203 and ASM 304201.
a Make sure that the connector pins are not damaged.
b Do a check of the resistance of sensor 2 between pins A/E and A/F for correct value.
c If the resistance of sensor 2 is correct:
- Connect pins A/A and A/B of the WHC-1 (2DG1) to pins A/E and A/F of sensor ASM 304201.
- Replace WINDOW-FIXED, L [7DG1] , AMM 56-11-12-000-001 and AMM 56-11-12-400-002.
1 Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
2 If the fault continues:
- Do a check and repair the
wiring from the WHC-1 (2DG1) to L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/E and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
- Replace WINDOW-FIXED, L [7DG1] , AMM 56-11-12-000-001 and AMM 56-11-12-400-002.
F. If the test gives maintenance message L FIXED WINDOW SENSOR associated with ECAM message ANTI-ICE L WINDSHIELD, or ANTI-ICE L WINDOW:
1 Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
2 If the resistance of sensor 3 is between 370 Ohms and 715 Ohms:
1 Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
2 If the fault continues:
Subtask 30-42-00-810-098-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - Disconnect the electrical connector from the L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) and do a check of the resistance between pins A/C and A/D on the receptacle of the L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1).
- Do a check of the resistance of replacement sensor between pins A/E and A/F for correct value.
- Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-1 (2DG1) to pins A/E and A/F of replacement sensor AWM 304203 and ASM 304201.
- Replace WINDOW-FIXED, L [7DG1] , AMM 56-11-12-000-001 and AMM 56-11-12-400-002.
- Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
- Do a check and repair the
wiring from the WHC-1 (2DG1) to L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
- Verify the correct value of the resistance of temperature sensor connected to the L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) ASM 304201.
For example, for OAT= 20 deg.C (68.00 deg.F) sensor value must be between 594 Ohms and 606 Ohms.
1 Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
2 If the resistance of sensor 3 is between 370 Ohms and 715 Ohms:

- Do a check and repair the
wiring from the WHC-1 (2DG1) to L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/E and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
- Replace WINDOW-FIXED, L [7DG1] , AMM 56-11-12-000-001 and AMM 56-11-12-400-002.
G. If the test gives the maintenance message L FIXED WINDOW SENSOR associated with ECAM message ANTI-ICE L WINDSHIELD, or ANTI-ICE L WINDOW:
(a) Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
(b) If the fault continues:
Subtask 30-42-00-810-099-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - Disconnect the electrical connector from the left fixed window (7DG1) and do a check of the resistance between pins A/C and A/D on the receptacle of the left fixed window (7DG1) ASM 304201.
- Do a check of the resistance of the sensor 2 between pins A/E and A/F of the
left fixed window (7DG1) AWM 304203.
- Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC1 (2DG1) to pins A/E and A/F of the left fixed window (7DG1).
- Replace the WINDOW-FIXED, L [7DG1] AMM 56-12-12-000-001 and AMM 56-12-12-400-002.
- Do a check and repair the
wiring from the WHC1 (2DG1) to the left fixed window (7DG1) , pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C ASM 304201.
(a) Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
(b) If the fault continues:
- Do a check and repair the
wiring from the WHC1 (2DG1) to the left fixed window (7DG1) , pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/c ASM 304201.
H. If the test gives maintenance message L FIXED WINDOW SENSOR associated with ECAM message ANTI-ICE L WINDSHIELD, or ANTI-ICE L WINDOW:
1 Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
2 If the resistance of sensor 3 is between 370 Ohms and 715 Ohms:
a Make sure that the connector pins are not damaged.
b Do a check of the resistance of sensor 2 between pins A/E and A/F for correct value.
c If the resistance of sensor 2 is correct:
Subtask 30-42-00-710-069-A - Disconnect the electrical connector from the L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) and do a check of the resistance between pins A/C and A/D on the receptacle of the L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1).
- Do a check of the resistance of sensor 3 between pins A/D and A/E for correct value.
- Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-1 (2DG1) to pins A/D and A/E of sensor 3 AWM 304203 and ASM 304201.
- Do a check of the resistance of sensor 2 between pins A/E and A/F for correct value.
- Connect pins B/U and B/V of the WHC-1 (2DG1) to pins A/E and A/F of sensor 2 AWM 304203 and ASM 304201.
- Replace WINDOW-FIXED, L [7DG1] , AMM 56-11-12-000-001 and AMM 56-11-12-400-002.
- Replace WHC-1 [2DG1] , AMM 30-42-34-000-001 and AMM 30-42-34-400-001.
- Do a check and repair the
wiring from the WHC-1 (2DG1) to L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/E and pins B/U to B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
- Verify the correct value of the resistance of temperature sensor connected to the WHC-1 (7DG1), ASM 304201.

- Do a check and repair the
wiring from the WHC-1 (2DG1) to L FIXED WINDOW (7DG1) pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/C and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/D and A/E and pins B/U and B/V to pins A/E and A/F.
- Replace WINDOW-FIXED, L [7DG1] , AMM 56-11-12-000-001 and AMM 56-11-12-400-002.
