A. Test
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
AMM 24-41-00-861-002.
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) AMM 31-60-00-860-001.
(3) In the cockpit, on the overhead control and indicator panel, on the ANTI ICE section, push the ENG1(2) pushbutton switch (the ON legend comes on).
(4) Wait three seconds.
(5) On the overhead control and indicator panel, on the ANTI ICE section release the ENG1(2) pushbutton switch (the ON legend goes off).
(6) On the MCDU screen, get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/ENG menu page AMM 31-32-00-860-012.
(a) On the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/ENG menu page, push the line key adjacent to the FADEC 1(2) A indication.
EEC 1(2) CHAN A page comes into view.
(b) Push the line key adjacent to the GND SCANNING indication. The GROUND SCANNING menu page comes into view.
1 If there is a maintenance message, go to the Para. Fault Isolation.
2 If the maintenance message does not come into view again, do the component and harness intermittent for guidance troubleshooting intermittent faults (Ref. TSM TASK 71-00-00-810-835).
a If you find no fault, send the engine back to service and monitor the engine to make sure that the maintenance message does not come into view again.
4. Fault Isolation(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
AMM 24-41-00-861-002.
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) AMM 31-60-00-860-001.
(3) In the cockpit, on the overhead control and indicator panel, on the ANTI ICE section, push the ENG1(2) pushbutton switch (the ON legend comes on).
(4) Wait three seconds.
(5) On the overhead control and indicator panel, on the ANTI ICE section release the ENG1(2) pushbutton switch (the ON legend goes off).
(6) On the MCDU screen, get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/ENG menu page AMM 31-32-00-860-012.
(a) On the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/ENG menu page, push the line key adjacent to the FADEC 1(2) A indication.

MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE ELECTRICAL POWER FROM THE EEC BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE EEC CAN OCCUR.
Subtask 30-21-00-810-080-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. If there is confirmation of the fault:
(1) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)
. Pin P1/p of the EEC and pin 6 of 402VC1.
a If there is no continuity:
. Pin P1/p of the EEC and pin 6 of 402VC2.
a If there is no continuity:
5. Close-up(1) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)
- Do an EIU1 DISCRETE INPUTS menu data-status-test AMM 73-25-34-860-806.
- Remove EIU1 AMM 73-25-34-000-802.
- Do a continuity check of the wiring ASM 302101 between:
. Pin A/B2 of the ANTI ICE/ENG 1 pushbutton switch (2DN1) and pin AA/5C of EIU1
. Pin A/B1 of the ANTI ICE/ENG 1 pushbutton switch (2DN1) and pin AA/4A of EIU2.
- Repair the wiring.
- Install EIU1 AMM 73-25-34-400-802.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Replace the P/BSW-ANTI ICE/ENG 1 [2DN1] ESPM 204511.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Replace EIU-1 [1KS1] AMM 73-25-34-400-802.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Use PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT to disconnect electrical connector P1 of the EEC and do a continuity check of the wiring ASM 302101 between:
. Pin A/D1 of the ANTI ICE/ENG 1 pushbutton switch (2DN1) and pin P1/q of the EEC
. Pin A/D3 of the ANTI ICE/ENG 1 pushbutton switch (2DN1) and pin P1/p of the EEC.
- Do a continuity check of the wiring AWM 715135 between:
. Pin P1/p of the EEC and pin 6 of 402VC1.
a If there is no continuity:
- Replace the HARNESS-FAN, WF02 [4218KS] AMM 73-21-62-000-802 and AMM 73-21-62-400-802.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Do a continuity check and repair the ASM 302101 wiring between:
. Pin A/D1 of the ANTI ICE/ENG 1 pushbutton switch (2DN1) and pin 5 of 402VC1
. Pin A/D3 of the ANTI ICE/ENG 1 pushbutton switch (2DN1) and pin 6 of 402VC1.
- Do a continuity check of the wiring AWM 732527 and AWM 715135 between:
. Pin AA/11K of EIU1 and pin P1/c of the EEC
. Pin AA/12K of EIU1 and pin P1/B of the EEC.
- Do a continuity check of the AWM 732527 AWM 732529 and wiring between:
. Pin AA/11K of EIU1 and pin 36 of 402VC1
. Pin AA/12K of EIU1 and pin 18 of 402VC1.
* If there is no continuity:
* Repair the wiring.
* Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Replace the HARNESS-FAN, WF02 [4218KS] AMM 73-21-62-000-802 and AMM 73-21-62-400-802.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Use PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT to disconnect electrical connector P2 of the EEC and do the continuity check of the wiring AWM 732529 and AWM 715135 between:
. Pin AA/14K of EIU1 and pin P2/c of the EEC
. Pin AA/15K of EIU1 and pin P2/B of the EEC.
- Do a continuity check of the wiring AWM 732529 between:
. Pin AA/14K of EIU1 and pin 36 of 403VC1
. Pin AA/15K of EIU1 and pin 18 of 403VC1.
* If there is no continuity:
* Repair the wiring.
* Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Do a continuity check and repair the WF01 fan harness AWM 715135 between:
. Pin 36 of 403VC1 and pin P2/c of the EEC
. Pin 18 of 403VC1 and pin P2/B of the EEC.
** If there is no continuity:
** Replace the HARNESS-FAN, WF01 [4217KS] AMM 73-21-61-000-802 and AMM 73-21-61-400-802.
** Do the test given in Para. 3.
** If there is continuity:
** Replace the P/BSW-ANTI ICE/ENG 1 [2DN1] ESPM 204511. - Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Replace EIU-1 [1KS1] AMM 73-25-34-000-802 and AMM 73-25-34-400-802.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Replace the
[4000KS] AMM 73-21-01-000-801 and AMM 73-21-01-400-801. - Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Do an EIU2 DISCRETE INPUTS menu data-status-test AMM 73-25-34-860-806.
- Remove EIU2 AMM 73-25-34-000-802.
- Do the continuity check of the wiring between ASM 302101 ASM 732508:
. Pin A/B2 of the ANTI ICE/ENG 2 pushbutton switch (2DN2) and pin AA/5C of EIU2
. Pin A/B1 of the ANTI ICE/ENG 2 pushbutton switch (2DN2) and pin AA/4A of EIU1.
- Repair the wiring.
- Install EIU2 AMM 73-25-34-000-802.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Replace the P/BSW-ANTI ICE/ENG 2 [2DN2] ESPM 204511.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Replace EIU-2 [1KS2] AMM 73-25-34-400-802.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Use PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT to disconnect electrical connector P1 of the EEC and do a continuity check of the wiring ASM 302102 between:

- Replace the HARNESS-FAN, WF02 [4218KS] AMM 73-21-62-000-802 and AMM 73-21-62-400-802.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Do a continuity check and repair the wiring AWM 302102 between:
. Pin A/D1 of the ANTI ICE/ENG 2 pushbutton switch (2DN2) and pin 5 of 402VC2
. Pin A/D3 of the ANTI ICE/ENG 2 pushbutton switch (2DN2) and pin 6 of 402VC2.
- Do a continuity check of the wiring AWM 732526 and AWM 715135 between:
. Pin AA/11K of EIU2 and pin P1/c of the EEC
. Pin AA/12K of EIU2 and pin P1/B of the EEC.
- Do a continuity check of the wiring between AWM 732526:
. Pin AA/11K of EIU2 and pin 36 of 402VC2
. Pin AA/12K of EIU2 and pin 18 of 402VC2.
* If there is no continuity:
* Repair the wiring.
* Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Replace the HARNESS-FAN, WF02 [4218KS] AMM 73-21-62-000-802 and AMM 73-21-62-400-802.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Use PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT to disconnect electrical connector P2 of the EEC and do a continuity check of the wiring AWM 732530 and AWM 715135 between:
. Pin AA/14K of EIU2 and pin P2/c of the EEC
. Pin AA/15K of EIU2 and pin P2/B of the EEC.
- Do a continuity check of the wiring AWM 732530 between:
. Pin AA/14K of EIU2 and pin 36 of 403VC2
. Pin AA/15K of EIU2 and pin 18 of 403VC2.
* If there is no continuity:
* Repair the wiring.
* Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Do a continuity check and repair the WF01 fan harness AWM 715135 between:
. Pin 36 of 403VC2 and pin P2/c of the EEC
. Pin 18 of 403VC2 and pin P2/B of the EEC.
** If there is no continuity:
** Replace the HARNESS-FAN, WF01 [4217KS] AMM 73-21-61-000-802 and AMM 73-21-61-400-802.
** Do the test given in Para. 3.
** If there is continuity:
** Replace the P/BSW-ANTI ICE/ENG 2 [2DN2] ESPM 204511. - Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Replace EIU-2 [1KS2] AMM 73-25-34-000-802 and AMM 73-25-34-400-802.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- Replace the
