3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 29-11-00-710-068-A
A. Do the operational test of the green hydraulic system AMM 29-11-00-710-001.
   (1) If the hydraulic pressure during the test of the Green hydraulic system does not decrease to 0 psi (0.0 bar), go to para 4. A.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 29-11-00-810-074-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the test confirms the fault:
   (1) Do a check of the EDP:
     (a) Disconnect the electrical connector CONNECTOR(1030GK-A) from the PUMP VARIABLE DTS [1030GK] .
     (b) Make sure that the P/BSW 1705GK is released.
     (c) On the electrical connector CONNECTOR(1030GK-A), do a check for +28VDC at pin 3.
     (d) Connect the electrical connector CONNECTOR(1030GK-A) to the PUMP VARIABLE DTS [1030GK] .
     (e) If there is +28VDC and the EDP P/N is 887673 or 3031863-001:
       1 Replace the engine pump solenoid-valve AMM 29-11-51-000-803 and AMM 29-11-51-400-803.
       2 Do the test given in Para. 3.
     (f) If the fault continues:
       1 Replace the PUMP VARIABLE DTS [1030GK] .
       2 Do the test given in Para. 3.
   (2) If the fault continues:
     (a) Remove the P/BSW 1705GK.
     (b) On the rack, do a check for +28VDC at pin AA/C3.
     (c) Install the P/BSW 1705GK.
     (d) If there is +28VDC:
       1 Replace the P/BSW 1705GK.
       2 Do the test given in Para. 3.
   (3) If the fault continues:
     (a) Do a check of the aircraft wiring between:
  • The PUMP VARIABLE DTS [1030GK] and the P/BSW 1705GK
  • The P/BSW 1705GK and the C/B-HYDRAULIC/G HYD/PUMP ENG1/CTL [1701GK]
  • The PUMP VARIABLE DTS [1030GK] and the SDAC
    ASM 291101.
Subtask 29-11-00-810-074-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the test confirms the fault:
   (1) Do a check of the EDP:
     (a) Disconnect the electrical connector CONNECTOR(1030GK-A) from the PUMP VARIABLE DTS [1030GK] .
     (b) Make sure that the P/BSW 1705GK is released.
     (c) On the electrical connector CONNECTOR(1030GK-A), do a check for +28VDC at pin 3.
     (d) Connect the electrical connector CONNECTOR(1030GK-A) to the PUMP VARIABLE DTS [1030GK] .
     (e) If there is +28VDC and the EDP P/N is 887673 or 3031863-001:
       1 Replace the engine pump solenoid-valve AMM 29-11-51-000-011 and AMM 29-11-51-400-011.
       2 Do the test given in Para. 3.
     (f) If the fault continues:
       1 Replace the PUMP VARIABLE DTS [1030GK] .
       2 Do the test given in Para. 3.
   (2) If the fault continues:
     (a) Remove the P/BSW 1705GK.
     (b) On the rack, do a check for +28VDC at pin AA/C3.
     (c) Install the P/BSW 1705GK.
     (d) If there is +28VDC:
       1 Replace the P/BSW 1705GK.
       2 Do the test given in Para. 3.
   (3) If the fault continues:
     (a) Do a check of the aircraft wiring between:
  • The PUMP VARIABLE DTS [1030GK] and the P/BSW 1705GK
  • The P/BSW 1705GK and the C/B-HYDRAULIC/G HYD/PUMP ENG1/CTL [1701GK]
  • The PUMP VARIABLE DTS [1030GK] and the SDAC
    ASM 291101.
5. Close-up
Subtask 29-11-00-942-051-A
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
