Fuel Quantity/Temperature Probe 33QT1(2), Left(Right) Wing Tank
3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 28-42-00-710-092-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. During normal operation of the FQIS/FWC/DMC this is a configuration warning . The temperature of the fuel in the outer cell is more or less than the limit for safe operation of the aircraft in flight. It is not a warning of a system/LRU failure or malfunction.
If in flight phase 02 or 06 L (R) OUTER TK HI TEMP is shown. This indication could be spurious and related to HF interference.
Follow the maintenance instruction in Fault Isolation.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 28-42-00-810-092-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Maintenance Instruction
   (1) After 2 minutes the the fuel temperature measurement will be updated. If the indication is spurious, the temperature will return to normal limits after the next refresh of the fuel temperature indication system. After 2 - 3 minutes if the fuel high temperature indication decreases to normal. The high temperature indication can be accepted as spurious. The aircraft can dispatch as normal.
   (2) If the fuel temperature does not return to normal, the ECAM and FCOM procedures must be followed.
NOTE: For more data refer to TFU 28.42.00.44 Inner and Outer Fuel Tank High Temperature indication.
   (3) If the Outer Cell temperature system is under suspicion:
   (4) If the Fault continues:
NOTE: A fault with the Overpressure protector 102QM (103QM), can cause a Fuel High/Low Temperature Configuration Warning for the applicable outer cell.
     (a) Do the Fuel - Tank Venting, L(R) Wing Tank (Outer Cell) Overpressure Protector procedure for the applicable Outer Cell (Ref. TSM TASK 28-12-00-810-804).
