A. Safety Precaution
(a) Stop the initial work steps.
(b) Do the Fuel - Loss of Power supply to the Center Tank Pump 1(2) procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 28-21-00-810-829).
(c) Replace (or do a repair of) all the unserviceable wiring and connections ESPM 2053210 before you continue.
(d) Close the C/B-30QA or GFI-70QA.
(e) Continue the initial work steps.
Subtask 28-21-00-710-067-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
DO NOT CLOSE OR RESET:
(1) If you find the C/B-30QA or the GFI-70QA has tripped (during a work step in this TSM TASK or a referenced out AMM TASK), you must: - AN OPEN (TRIPPED) MECHANICAL CIRCUIT BREAKER
- A TRIPPED GFI
- FIRE OR EXPLOSION
- DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WIRING AND STRUCTURE.
B. Test
(1) If necessary, do the EIS start procedure (ECAM only) AMM 31-60-00-860-001.
(a) On the ECAM control panel, push (in) the FUEL P/BSW.
(b) Make sure that the FUEL page shows on the ECAM lower display unit.
(2) Make sure that the center tank contains more than 250 kg (560 lb) of fuel. Refuel AMM 12-11-28-650-004 or transfer fuel AMM 28-25-00-869-001, if necessary.
(3) Make sure that the CTR TK MODE SEL P/BSW (48QA) white MAN legend is on. If necessary, release (out) the CTR TK MODE SEL P/BSW (48QA) to set the center tank fuel pumps control to manual mode.
(4) Push (in) the CTR TK PUMP 2 P/BSW (34QA).
(5) Examine the center-tank right side fuel-pump No. 2 symbol, on the FUEL system page, at the ECAM lower display unit.
(6) If the symbol shows:
4. Fault Isolation(1) If necessary, do the EIS start procedure (ECAM only) AMM 31-60-00-860-001.
- green in-line, no more maintenance steps are necessary (normal operation)
- amber cross-line, do Para. 4.A.
- amber LO, do the TSM procedure Center Tank Pump No. 2 (Right Side) 38QA System Malfunction (Ref. TSM TASK 28-21-00-810-814).
NOTE: The amber LO is only shown when the signals that follow occur at the same time:
- the contactor closed (on)
- the center tank pump 2 low fuel pressure.

A. Procedure
(1) Do the operational test of the GFI 70QA AMM 28-18-00-710-801.
(a) If there is a fault with the CNTOR-GFI CTR TK PUMP 2 SUPPLY [70QA] , replace it.
or
(b) If MMEL conditions apply, deactivate the PUMP-FUEL NO 2, CTR TK [38QA] AMM 28-21-00-040-002. (Ref. MMEL 28-21-02 Center Tank Fuel Pump).
(2) At the panel 107VU (Contactor box) 107VU, do a visual inspection of the GFI 70QA.
(a) If the GFI 70QA has tripped, go to step (4).
(b) If the GFI 70QA is not tripped, do the steps that follow.
(3) Do the initial checks as given in:
1 At the panel (contactor box) 107VU, remove the CNTOR-GFI CTR TK PUMP 2 SUPPLY [70QA] .
2 At the CNTOR-GFI CTR TK PUMP 2 SUPPLY [70QA] , make sure that:
