B. Test
   (1) If necessary, do the EIS start procedure (ECAM only) AMM 31-60-00-860-001.
     (a) On the ECAM control panel, push (in) the FUEL P/BSW.
     (b) Make sure that the FUEL page shows on the ECAM lower display unit.
   (2) Make sure that the center tank contains more than 250 kg (560 lb) of fuel. Refuel AMM 12-11-28-650-004 or transfer fuel AMM 28-25-00-869-001, if necessary.
   (3) Make sure that the CTR TK MODE SEL P/BSW (48QA) white MAN legend is on. If necessary, release (out) the CTR TK MODE SEL P/BSW (48QA) to set the center tank fuel pumps control to manual mode.
   (4) Push (in) the CTR TK PUMP 2 P/BSW (34QA).
   (5) Examine the center-tank right side fuel-pump No. 2 symbol, on the FUEL system page, at the ECAM lower display unit.
   (6) If the symbol shows:

  • green in-line, no more maintenance steps are necessary (normal operation)

  • amber cross-line, do Para. 4.A.

  • amber LO, do the TSM procedure Center Tank Pump No. 2 (Right Side) 38QA System Malfunction (Ref. TSM TASK 28-21-00-810-814).
NOTE: The amber LO is only shown when the signals that follow occur at the same time:
