WARNING:
OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.
WARNING:
DO NOT CLOSE AN OPEN (TRIPPED) CIRCUIT BREAKER RELATED TO A FUEL-PUMP.
IF YOU CLOSE THE CIRCUIT BREAKER, THERE IS A RISK:
- OF FIRE OR OF AN EXPLOSION
- OF DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WIRING AND STRUCTURE.
WARNING:
WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE FUEL SYSTEM WIRING, YOU MUST USE TEST EQUIPMENT THAT IS APPROVED (REFER TO INTERNATIONAL OR NATIONAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR INTRINSICALLY SAFE TEST EQUIPMENT: EN50020, UL913 OR EQUIVALENT). TEST EQUIPMENT THAT IS NOT APPROVED CAN CAUSE FIRE OR AN EXPLOSION.

A. Safety Precaution
(a) Stop the initial work steps.
(b) Do the TSM procedure, Fuel - L(R) Wing Tank Pumps 2, Power Supply - C/B-7QA(8QA) Tripped (Ref. TSM TASK 28-21-00-810-828).
(c) Replace (or do a repair of) all the unserviceable wiring and connections ESPM 2053210 before you continue.
(d) Close the C/B-7QA.
(e) Continue the initial work steps.
Subtask 28-21-00-710-060-A WARNING:
DO NOT CLOSE AN OPEN (TRIPPED) CIRCUIT BREAKER RELATED TO A FUEL-PUMP.
IF YOU CLOSE THE CIRCUIT BREAKER, THERE IS A RISK:
(1) If you find the C/B-7QA has tripped (during a work step in this TSM TASK or a referenced out AMM TASK), you must: - OF FIRE OR OF AN EXPLOSION
- OF DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WIRING AND STRUCTURE.
B. Test
(1) If necessary, do the job set-up of the Operational Test of the Wing-Tanks Fuel Control AMM 28-21-00-710-001.
(2) Push (in) the L TK PUMPS 2 P/BSW (15QA).
(3) Examine the left wing-tank fuel-pump 2 symbol, on the FUEL system page, at the ECAM lower display unit.
(4) If the symbol shows:
4. Fault Isolation(1) If necessary, do the job set-up of the Operational Test of the Wing-Tanks Fuel Control AMM 28-21-00-710-001.
(2) Push (in) the L TK PUMPS 2 P/BSW (15QA).
(3) Examine the left wing-tank fuel-pump 2 symbol, on the FUEL system page, at the ECAM lower display unit.
(4) If the symbol shows:
- green in-line, no more maintenance steps are necessary (normal operation)
- amber cross-line, do Para. 4.A.
- amber LO, do the TSM procedure Left Wing Tank Pump No. 2 (Inner) 25QA System Malfunction (Ref. TSM TASK 28-21-00-810-803).
NOTE: The amber LO is only shown when the signals that follow occur at the same time:
- the contactor closed (on)
- the left tank pump 2 low fuel pressure.

A. Procedure
(1) Do the initial checks as given in:
and/or
1 At the panel (contactor box) 107VU, remove the contactor-19QA.
2 At the contactor (relay) base 19QA-A, make sure that:
4 Make sure that the contactor-19QA removed in step 1_ is installed.
5 Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
(b) Swap (interchange) the items listed that follow, one at a time, with those from the right wing-tank fuel-pump 2 system:
1 Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
2 If the fault is removed/cleared:
a Replace all the unserviceable items.
b Do the test given in Para. 3.B. for the left and right wing-tank fuel-pumps 2.
(2) If the fault continues:
(a) Do a check ASM 282102 of the aircraft wiring between:
(c) Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
(1) Do the initial checks as given in:
- step (a), with a MULTIMETER - STANDARD
and/or
- step (b), by substitution and replacement.
1 At the panel (contactor box) 107VU, remove the contactor-19QA.
2 At the contactor (relay) base 19QA-A, make sure that:
- a ground is available at terminal Z
- 28VDC is available at terminal X, when the P/BSW-15QA is set to on (through the closed contacts B3 to B1).
- the C/B-FUEL/PUMPS/2/L CTL AND R IND (9QA), terminal 2 and the P/BSW-FUEL/L TK PUMP/2 (15QA), terminal B3
