B. Test
   (1) Read the:
     (a) Paragraph titled Intermittent fault (Ref. TSM, 00-INTRO, 7.F(2)(b)2_).
     (b) Technical Follow-Up (Ref. TFU 28.15.00.003).
   (2) Do the Functional BITE Test (of the FLSS) AMM 28-46-00-740-001.
     (a) Examine the FLSS STATUS page.
Look for one (or more) of the messages that follow:
  • L LO LEVEL SENSOR 16QJ1
  • R LO LEVEL SENSOR 15QJ2
  • FLSCU1 7QJ
  • FLSCU2 9QJ.
     (b) If a message(s) listed (in the step before):

  • is not shown, do step (3)

  • is shown, trouble shoot the identified LRU(s) before you do step (3).
   (3) Do the Functional BITE Test of the Intercell Transfer Valves AMM 28-15-00-740-002.
NOTE: The COMMAND FLSS BITE option does not test the intercell transfer valves (ICTVs).
NOTE: The ICTVs are motor driven and the electrical power for these circuits is supplied from 801PP, 28VDC, ESS BUS/SHEDDABLE ASM 281501. The ICTVs will not operate on battery power
     (a) Examine the FLSS STATUS page.
Look for the (left wing rear ICTV) message XFR VALVE 28QM/71QM/11QP.
     (b) If the message:

  • is not shown, go to step (4)

  • is shown, do Para. 4.A.
   (4) AIRBUS recommends:
     (a) If the two functional tests (in steps (2) and (3)) show NO FAULTS, the FLSCU-1 7QJ and the FLSCU-2 9QJ are not replaced.
     (b) No more work steps are necessary.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 28-15-00-810-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Procedure
   (1) Get access to the ACTUATOR-TRANSFER VALVE, L REAR SPAR (11QP) AMM 28-15-51-000-002.
   (2) Disconnect the electrical connector 11QP-A from the ACTUATOR-TRANSFER VALVE, L REAR SPAR (11QP).
   (3) With a MULTIMETER - STANDARD check to see if 28VDC is available at pin B of the actuator electrical supply cable connector ASM 281501.
   (4) If the 28VDC is available check/replace the ACTUATOR-TRANSFER VALVE, L REAR SPAR [11QP] , AMM 28-15-51-000-002, and AMM 28-15-51-400-002.
     (a) When the actuator is removed from the aircraft make sure that the transfer valve drive shaft and valve are free to rotate.
     (b) Repair/replace any unserviceable items found in (a).
   (5) If the 28VDC is not available at pin B of the actuator electrical supply cable connector 11QP-A.
     (a) Check with a multimeter to make sure that 28VDC is available at:
  • terminal A2, RELAY-L WING TK LOW LEVEL CHANNEL A (5QP)
  • terminal X1, RELAY-L WING TK LOW LEVEL CHANNEL A (5QP).
     (b) If the 28VDC is not available do a wiring check ASM 281501 of the aircraft wiring between the RELAY-L WING TK LOW LEVEL CHANNEL A (5QP) terminals A2, X1, and the C/B-FUEL/XFR VALVE 1/WING/L (1QP).
     (c) Repair all the unserviceable wiring and connectors ESPM 2053210.
     (d) Check with a multimeter to make sure that 28VDC is available at:
  • terminal A2, RELAY-R WING TK LOW LEVEL CHANNEL B (6QP)
  • terminal X1, RELAY-R WING TK LOW LEVEL CHANNEL B (6QP).
     (e) If the 28VDC is not available do a wiring check ASM 281501 of the aircraft wiring between the RELAY-R WING TK LOW LEVEL CHANNEL B (6QP) terminals A2, X1, and the C/B-FUEL/XFR VALVE 1/WING/R (2QP).
     (f) Repair all the unserviceable wiring and connectors.
   (6) Do the test given in Para 3.B.
   (7) If the fault continues, check/replace the RELAY-L WING TK LOW LEVEL CHANNEL A (5QP) 103VU.
   (8) Do the test given in Para 3.B.
   (9) If the fault continues check/replace the RELAY-R WING TK LOW LEVEL CHANNEL B (6QP) 103VU.
   (10) Do the test given in Para 3.B.
   (11) If the fault continues check/replace the RELAY-L OR R REAR XFR VALVE OPEN LATCH (13QP) 103VU.
   (12) Do the test given in Para 3.B.
   (13) If the fault continues do a wiring check ASM 281501 of the aircraft wiring between:
  • the pin B, ACTUATOR-TRANSFER VALVE, L REAR SPAR (11QP) and the terminal B1, RELAY-R WING TK LOW LEVEL CHANNEL B (6QP)
  • the terminal B2, RELAY-R WING TK LOW LEVEL CHANNEL B (6QP) and the terminal A1, RELAY-L WING TK LOW LEVEL CHANNEL A (5QP)
