TASK 28-15-00-810-802-A
Intercell XFR System Failure (Right Wing) - Both Valves Remain Shut At Fuel Low Level

WARNING: OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.
1. Possible Causes
  • Right Wing Forward Intercell XFR VALVE (29QM/72QM/10QP)
  • Right Wing Rear Intercell XFR VALVE (30QM/73QM/12QP)

B. Do the FLSS BITE Test AMM 28-46-00-740-001.
NOTE: If the aircraft is already supplied with electrical power, reset the FQIC. (Open, then after 5 seconds, close the two C/Bs 1QT and 2QT). The FLSS BITE test is carried out once a short time after power up. After a two minute delay to allow the FQIC to do the BITE test, continue.
NOTE: The intercell transfer valves (ICTVs) are not tested by the COMMAND FLSS BITE option. (This option only available with 07 FQIC Software Standard).
NOTE: The ICTVs are motor driven and the power for these circuits is derived from the main power. The ICTVs are immobilized on battery power.
   (1) If failures are detected examine the FLSS STATUS page for any of the messages that follow:
  • L LO LEVEL SENSOR 15QJ1
  • R LO LEVEL SENSOR 15QJ2
  • L LO LEVEL SENSOR 16QJ1
  • R LO LEVEL SENSOR 16QJ2
  • FLSCU1 7QJ
  • FLSCU2 9QJ.
   (2) If none of the above messages are shown:
  • go to step Para 4.
   (3) If one or more of the messages identified in Para B.(1) are shown:
  • trouble shoot the LRU(s) before you start more steps.
Do the trouble shooting procedure related to the failure message.
4. Fault Isolation

A. Set the MCDU to SYSTEM REPORT/TEST (FUEL), then for:
  • 06 FQIC Software Standard go to the FQIS STATUS page
  • 07 FQIC Software Standard go to the FLSS STATUS page.
   (1) If both the XFR Valve messages are shown:
