A. Test
   (1) If there is a fuel leak from an AFT pylon drain port, do the fault isolation in Para. 4. A.
NOTE: The cause of fuel leak from an AFT pylon drain port can be an engine feed pipe damaged O-ring or connector .

NOTE: Fuel leaks from the AFT pylon drain ports are not permitted.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 28-11-00-810-063-A
A. Procedure
   (1) Do a check of the applicable engine feed pipe line and repair the leaks found, AMM 28-20-00-960-001.
   (2) Get access to compartment A of the applicable pylon AMM 05-24-10-200-001.
     (a) Do a visual inspection in compartment A for fuel leaks from:
  • the fuel pipes
  • the pipe connections and joints
  • the visible fuel tank structure.
1 If you cannot see signs of a leak use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) against the applicable components and tank structure.
NOTE: If the cloth becomes wet, there is a small leak.
     (b) Repair all leaks from damaged pipes (Ref. Duct and Fuel Pipe Repair Manual).
     (c) Repair all leaks from the damaged structure SRM 572112.
     (d) Make sure that there is no blockage in the drain of compartment A.
     (e) Do the detailed inspection of the CAF4 sealant in pylon cantilever ZONE "A" procedure AMM 54-50-00-220-001.
   (3) Get access to compartment F of the applicable pylon AMM 05-24-10-200-002.
     (a) Do a visual inspection in compartment F for fuel leaks from:
  • the fuel pipes
  • the pipe connections and joints
  • the visible fuel tank structure.
1 If you cannot see signs of a leak use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) against the applicable components and tank structure.
NOTE: If the cloth becomes wet, there is a small leak.
     (b) Repair all leaks from damaged pipes (Ref. Duct and Fuel Pipe Repair Manual).
     (c) Repair all leaks from the damaged structure SRM 517612.
