General Background Data

In the Flight Warning Computer (FWC) standards H1E2, H2E2 (or earlier) the related logic diagrams for the ECAM FUEL warnings that follow do not include an A321 logic input:
  • FUEL-LEFT WING TANK OVERFLOW -A321 (See LOGIC IDENT 1.28.582)
  • FUEL-RIGHT WING TANK OVERFLOW -A321 (See LOGIC IDENT 1.28.584).
NOTE: The applicable logic diagrams can be found in the ECAM SYSTEM LOGIC BOOKs (ECLB).
Thus it is possible that a failure in a SDAC can trigger a (spurious) ECAM warning for an item of equipment, or system, that is not installed in that standard (type) of single aisle aircraft (Ref. OEB 148-2).

With the introduction of Flight Warning Computer (FWC) standards H1E3, H2E3 or later, the same logic diagrams (as referred to above) were given a A321 logic input.
NOTE: The revised logic diagrams can be found in the ECAM System Logic Data (ESLD) (available at Airbus Online Services (AOLS) or Compact Disc (CD)).
The same failure in a SDAC will not now trigger a (spurious) ECAM warning for the logic indentifications referred to above/before.

The related single aisle aircraft TSM Tasks are 28-26-00-810-808 and 28-26-00-810-809.
