1. Possible Causes

SLAT/FLAP CONTR.COMP. [21CV]
SLAT/FLAP CONTR.COMP. [22CV]
wiring from the SFCC1(2) pin AE/8K to the first terminal block.
wiring from the SFCC1(2) pin AE/9K to the ground.

3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 27-81-00-710-061-A

A. Select MCDU MENU mode and set the CFDS then the A/C CURRENT STATUS or AVIONICS STATUS.
(1) Do a check of the STATUS report and look for an indicated SLAT/FLAP CONTR.COMP. [21CV] or SLAT/FLAP CONTR.COMP. [22CV] fault on SDAC, CFDIU, ELAC, FAC and SEC.
(2) If all these systems report an SFCC 1 (2) fault go to (Ref. TSM TASK 27-51-00-810-839).
(3) The avionics systems TSM ATA references are:

SDAC 31-54-00
CFDIU 32-31-00
ELAC 27-92-00
FAC 22-69-00
SEC 27-92-00.

(4) If no other fault message is reported in the Status Report, do the fault isolation procedure.

NOTE: If the SFCC identified defective is failed or under MMEL (SLAT SYS X FAULT), this procedure is not applicable. This fault is a consequence of the failure or MMEL condition.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 27-81-00-810-077-A

A. Procedure
(1) Do the trouble shooting procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 31-32-00-810-932) related to the discrete output signal (SAP #5, pin AE/8K) of the SFCC1(2) ASM 278110.
(2) If the fault continues:
(a) Do a check and repair the

wiring from the SFCC1(2) pin AE/8K to the first terminal block. ASM 278110.
wiring from the SFCC1(2) pin AE/9K to the ground. ASM 278110.
