3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 27-51-00-710-079-A
A. Test
   (1) At the MCDU, access the SYSTEM REPORT / TEST page and select F/CTL> AMM 31-32-00-860-006.
   (2) Select <SFCCX (where X is the No. of the applicable SFCC).
   (3) Select <SFCC/TEST, to do the SFCC BITE test:
  • if the fault message FLP 1(2) PCU VALVEBLOCK 23CV(24CV) VALVE SENSOR 27-54-53 shows, do the Fault Isolation Procedure given in Para. 4.
   (4) If the fault is intermittent and you cannot confirm this fault on the ground, do the steps that follow:
     (a) Set the MCDU to the MAIN MENU of the related SFCC and get access to the TROUBLESHOOTING DATA page AMM 31-32-00-860-006.
     (b) If the fault message FLP 1(2) PCU VALVEBLOCK 23CV(24CV) VALVE SENSOR 27-54-53 shows with the
fault code 005 (for a BAE SFCC) or fault code 005 or 020 (for a Diehl SFCC):
  • Replace the applicable valveblock as a first step (refer to the Fault Isolation Procedure).
NOTE: You can also refer to the In-Service Information (ISI) 27.51.00025 to receive more information of this intermittent fault.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 27-51-00-810-104-A
A. Procedure
NOTE: If you cannot confirm this fault on the ground and you get the related TROUBLESHOOTING DATA (see above), replace the applicable valveblock as a first step.
   (1) Interchange the SFCCs AMM 27-51-34-000-001 and AMM 27-51-34-400-001.
     (a) Do the test given in Para. 3.A:
     (b) If the fault moves to the other SFCC position:
       1 Put the serviceable SFCC back in its initial position.
       2 Replace the initial SLAT/FLAP CONTR.COMP. [21CV] or SLAT/FLAP CONTR.COMP. [22CV] that has the fault.
     (c) If the fault does not move to the other SFCC:
  • Install the SFCCs in their initial positions.
   (2) If the fault continues:
NOTE: The valve sensor is not a Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) and it is necessary to replace the valve block.
   (3) If the fault continues:
     (a) Do a check of the aircraft wiring and repair as necessary ASM 275102 or ASM 275103.
     (b) Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
