B. Test
(1) Do the BITE test of the EFCS (ground scanning) AMM 27-96-00-740-001.
L B AIL MODE VLV 33CE3
L G AIL MODE VLV 33CE1
1 Do this trouble shooting procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 27-10-00-810-818).
2 If you did a reset of the FLT CTL/ELAC2 before the BITE test of the EFCS, the ground scanning can give the maintenance message:
L B AIL MODE VLV 33CE3.
Subtask 27-10-00-860-061-A (1) Do the BITE test of the EFCS (ground scanning) AMM 27-96-00-740-001.
NOTE: Because the reset of the FLT CTL/ELAC2 can modify the maintenance message given by the BITE test of the EFCS (ground scanning), you must not reset the FLT CLT/ELAC2 before you do the BITE test of the EFCS (ground scanning).
(a) If the ground scanning gives the maintenance message: L B AIL MODE VLV 33CE3
- refer to Para. Fault Isolation.
L G AIL MODE VLV 33CE1

2 If you did a reset of the FLT CTL/ELAC2 before the BITE test of the EFCS, the ground scanning can give the maintenance message:
L B AIL MODE VLV 33CE3.
- Ignore this message.
- Do this trouble shooting procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 27-10-00-810-818).
C. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
