A. Do an inspection of the engine for signs of fire damage.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 26-21-00-810-068-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If you find signs of fire damage:
   (1) Put the engine back to its initial condition AMM 72-00-00-200-002.
   (2) If the engine fire-extinguisher bottles are discharged:
     (a) Replace the engine fire-extinguisher bottles AMM 26-21-41-000-001 and AMM 26-21-41-400-001.
     (b) Do the test given in Para. 4.C.
   (3) If the engine fire-extinguisher bottles are not discharged:
     (a) Do the test given in Para. 4.C.

B. If you do not find signs of fire damage:
   (1) If there was a nacelle overheat:
     (a) Repair and put the engine back to its initial condition AMM 72-00-00-200-002.
     (b) If the engine fire-extinguisher bottles are discharged:
     (c) If the engine fire-extinguisher bottles are not discharged:
  • Do the test given in Para. 4.C.
   (2) If there was no nacelle overheat:
     (a) Repair the fire protection system (Ref. TSM TASK 26-21-00-810-801) and (Ref. TSM TASK 26-21-00-810-802).
     (b) If the engine fire-extinguisher bottles are discharged:
     (c) If the engine fire-extinguisher bottles are not discharged:
  • Do the test given in Para. 4.C.

C. If you find signs of fire damage:
   (1) Put the engine back to its initial condition AMM 72-00-00-200-007.
   (2) If the engine fire-extinguisher bottles are discharged:
     (a) Replace the engine fire-extinguisher bottles AMM 26-21-41-000-001 and AMM 26-21-41-400-001.
     (b) Do the test given in Para. 4.C.
   (3) If the engine fire-extinguisher bottles are not discharged:
     (a) Do the test given in Para. 4.C.

D. If you do not find signs of fire damage:
   (1) If there was a nacelle overheat:
     (a) Repair and put the engine back to its initial condition AMM 72-00-00-200-007.

  • Do the test given in Para. 4.C.
   (2) If there was no nacelle overheat:
     (a) Repair the fire protection system (Ref. TSM TASK 26-21-00-810-801) and (Ref. TSM TASK 26-21-00-810-802).
     (b) If the engine fire-extinguisher bottles are discharged:
     (c) If the engine fire-extinguisher bottles are not discharged:
  • Do the test given in Para. 4.C.
