B. Test
(1) Open the circuit breakers 14WH, 15WH, 17WH and 18WH, wait for approximately 10 seconds and close them again, wait for a minimum of 30 seconds before you start the test.
(2) After a minimum time of 30 seconds, do the Ground Scanning of the Cabin Intercommunication Data-System (CIDS) - Smoke Detection Function (SDF) AMM 26-10-00-740-802.
(3) Do the operational test of the cargo compartment smoke detection AMM 26-16-00-710-001.
4. Fault Isolation(1) Open the circuit breakers 14WH, 15WH, 17WH and 18WH, wait for approximately 10 seconds and close them again, wait for a minimum of 30 seconds before you start the test.
(2) After a minimum time of 30 seconds, do the Ground Scanning of the Cabin Intercommunication Data-System (CIDS) - Smoke Detection Function (SDF) AMM 26-10-00-740-802.
(3) Do the operational test of the cargo compartment smoke detection AMM 26-16-00-710-001.
Subtask 26-16-00-810-122-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the test gives a maintenance message which is different from the maintenance message given in step 4.B:

B. If the BITE test gives the maintenance message WRG: SMK PTT TO CIDS-SDF:

- DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] connector AA pin 3F to PUSHBUTTON SWITCH-TEST [16WH] connector AA pin C1 or P/BSW-CARGO SMOKE/TEST [13WH] pin 4
ASM 261601. - DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] connector AA pin 3F to PUSHBUTTON SWITCH-TEST [16WH] connector AA pin C1 or P/BSW-CARGO SMOKE/TEST [13WH] pin 4
ASM 261601.
(3) If the fault continues:
- Replace related DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] or DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001 and AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
C. Do the test given in Para. 3.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
