A. Do the Bite Test of the Heated Floor Panel System AMM 25-27-00-740-001.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 25-27-00-810-068-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Fault Isolation for Control Units 4DS and 14DS

If one test indicator on the related control unit does not come on:

Do a check of the related fuse.

(1) If the fuse is not serviceable:

Do a check of the aircraft wiring for a short circuit between the related control unit and the inoperative heated floor panel, ASM 252701 or ASM 252702. Use a MULTIMETER - STANDARD.

(a) If there is a short to ground:

Repair the aircraft wiring, ASM 252701 or ASM 252702.
Replace the fuse.

(b) If there is no short to ground:

Replace the related control unit , AMM 25-27-34-000-002 and AMM 25-27-34-400-002.
Replace the fuse.

1 If the fault continues:

Replace the related heated floor panel , AMM 25-27-51-000-002 and AMM 25-27-51-400-002.
Replace the fuse.

(2) If the fuse is serviceable:

Do a check of the aircraft wiring between the related control unit and the inoperative heated floor panel, ASM 252701 or ASM 252702. Use a MULTIMETER - STANDARD.

(a) If there is continuity:

Interchange the connector and do the test given in Para. 3.

1 If the same indicator does not come on:

Replace the related control unit , AMM 25-27-34-000-002 and AMM 25-27-34-400-002.

a If the fault continues:

Replace the related heated floor panel , AMM 25-27-51-000-002 and AMM 25-27-51-400-002.

(b) If there is no continuity:

Repair the aircraft wiring, ASM 252703.
