4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 24-21-00-810-092-G ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the fault symptom is identified by the CFDS message IDG COOLER 2:

(1) If you smell fuel in the IDG 2 oil container:

replace the FUEL/OIL HEAT EXCHANGER of the IDG 2 AMM 73-11-60-000-002 and AMM 73-11-60-400-002
do the servicing of the IDG 2 after oil chemical contamination AMM 24-21-00-612-043.

(2) If there is no sign of fuel in the IDG 2 oil container:

replace the FUEL/OIL HEAT EXCHANGER of the IDG 2 AMM 73-11-60-000-002 and AMM 73-11-60-400-002
replace the IDG 2 oil-cooling tubing AMM 24-21-49-000-003 and AMM 24-21-49-400-003
do the servicing of the IDG 2 after oil chemical contamination AMM 24-21-00-612-043.

(a) If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the fuel supply of the fuel/oil heat exchanger for a flow that is not sufficient or for a blockage.

1 If the fault continues:

do the trouble shooting for other CFDS messages related to the fuel control circuit.

Subtask 24-21-00-810-092-I ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the fault symptom is identified by the CFDS message IDG COOLER 2:

(1) If you smell fuel in the IDG 2 oil container:

Replace FUEL/OIL HEAT EXCHANGER of the IDG 2 AMM 24-21-42-000-802 and AMM 24-21-42-400-802
Do the servicing of the IDG 2 after oil chemical contamination AMM 24-21-00-612-804.

(2) If there is no sign of fuel in the IDG 2 oil container:

Replace FUEL/OIL HEAT EXCHANGER of the IDG 2 AMM 24-21-42-000-802 and AMM 24-21-42-400-802
Replace IDG 2 oil-cooling tubing AMM 24-21-49-000-802 and AMM 24-21-49-400-802
Do the servicing of the IDG 2 after oil chemical contamination AMM 24-21-00-612-804.

(a) If the fault continues:

Do a check and repair the fuel supply of the fuel/oil heat exchanger for a flow that is not sufficient or for a blockage.

Do the trouble shooting for other CFDS messages related to the fuel control circuit.
