A. Test
(1) Do the BITE-test of the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) through the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-740-005.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 23-73-00-810-791-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.

B. If the test confirms the fault:
(1) Do a reset of the FAP as follows:
(a) Open this CB:
on 121VU: 170RH COM NAV/CIDS/FLT ATTND PNL1
(b) Wait at least 10 seconds and then close this CB:
on 121VU: 170RH COM NAV/CIDS/FLT ATTND PNL1
(c) Wait at least 10 seconds.
(d) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(2) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace the FAP [120RH] AMM 23-73-12-000-002 and AMM 23-73-12-400-002.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(3) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace the active DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] or DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001 and AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
