A. Test
   (1) Do the CIDS BITE test through the CFDS.

   (2) Do the Operational test of the CABIN READY function with engine running AMM 23-73-00-710-028.
Subtask 23-73-00-710-394-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
   (1) Do the Interface and Power-Up test of the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) through the CFDS.

   (2) Do the Operational test of the CABIN READY function with engine running AMM 23-73-00-710-028.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 23-73-00-810-766-A
A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
Subtask 23-73-00-810-767-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. If the test confirms the fault:
   (1) Do a reset of the FAP as follows:
  • Open this CB:
    On 121VU: 170RH COM NAV/CIDS/FWD ATTND PNL
  • Wait at least approx. 10 seconds and close these CBs:
    Close the CB:
    On 121VU: 170RH COM NAV/CIDS/FWD ATTND PNL
  • Wait at least approx. 200 seconds.
  • Do the test given in para. 3.A.
   (2) If the fault continues:
     (a) Remove the DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] and DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001.
     (b) Remove the SDAC-1 [1WV1] and SDAC-2 [1WV2] AMM 31-55-34-000-001.
     (c) Do a check and repair the wiring between:
  • The DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] connector AB pin 9J and the SDAC-1 [1WV1] connector AA pin 5G
  • the DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] connector AB pin 9J and the SDAC-2 [1WV2] connector AA pin 5G
  • the DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] connector AB pin 9J and the SDAC-1 [1WV1] connector AD pin 5C
  • the DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] connector AB pin 9J and the SDAC-2 [1WV2] connector AD pin 5C
    ASM 237300
     (d) Install the DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] and DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
     (e) install the SDAC-1 [1WV1] SDAC-2 [1WV2] AMM 31-55-34-400-001.
Subtask 23-73-00-810-767-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. If the test confirms the fault:
   (1) Remove the DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] and DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001.
   (2) Remove the SDAC-1 [1WV1] and SDAC-2 [1WV2] AMM 31-55-34-000-001.
   (3) Do a check and repair the wiring between:
  • The DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] connector AB pin 9J and the SDAC-1 [1WV1] connector AA pin 5G
  • The DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] connector AB pin 9J and the SDAC-2 [1WV2] connector AA pin 5G
  • The DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] connector AB pin 9J and the SDAC-1 [1WV1] connector AD pin 5C
  • The DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] connector AB pin 9J and the SDAC-2 [1WV2] connector AD pin 5C
    ASM 237300
   (4) Istall the DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] and DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
   (5) Install the SDAC-1 [1WV1] SDAC-2 [1WV2] AMM 31-55-34-400-001.

C. If the fault continues:
   (1) Replace the CFDIU [1TW] AMM 31-32-34-000-001 and AMM 31-32-34-400-001.

D. If the fault continues:
   (1) Remove the DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] and DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001.
   (2) Remove the CFDIU [1TW] AMM 31-32-34-000-001.
   (3) Do a check and repair the wiring between:
  • The DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] connector AA pin 11A and the CFDIU [1TW] connector AA pin 3F
  • The DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] connector AA pin 11B and the CFDIU [1TW] connector AA pin 3G
  • The DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] connector AA pin 11D and the CFDIU [1TW] connector AA pin 11F
  • The DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] connector AA pin 11E and the CFDIU [1TW] connector AA pin 11G
  • The DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] connector AA pin 11A and the CFDIU [1TW] connector AB pin 3D
  • The DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] connector AA pin 11B and the CFDIU [1TW] connector AB pin 3E
  • The DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] connector AA pin 11D and the CFDIU [1TW] connector AB pin 11D
  • The DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] connector AA pin 11E and the CFDIU [1TW] connector AB pin 11E
    ASM 237303.
   (4) Install the CFDIU [1TW] AMM 31-32-34-400-001.
   (5) Install the DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] and DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
