A. Test
(1) Do the BITE-test of the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) through the CFDS.

(a) Do a check in the logbook to make sure if some work was performed on the system.
(b) If any work was done before, continue with the next troubleshooting step of the of the Para. Fault Isolation.

4. Fault Isolation(1) Do the Interface and Power-Up test of the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) through the CFDS.

(b) If any work was done before, continue with the next troubleshooting step of the Para. Fault Isolation.

A. If the test causes a maintenance message to show, do the trouble-shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
Subtask 23-73-00-810-748-A B. Troubleshooting
(1) If there is confirmation of the fault:
(a) Replace DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001 and AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(c) Make an entry into the logbook to monitor the aircraft during the subsequent flight.
(d) If the fault occurs again, continue the trouble shooting procedure.
(2) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001 and AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(c) Make an entry into the logbook to monitor the aircraft during the subsequent flight.
(d) If the fault occurs again, continue the trouble shooting procedure.
(3) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace thePushbutton Switch (3WP) on the cockpit panel 21VU
ASM 256301.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(c) Make an entry into the logbook to monitor the aircraft during the subsequent flight.
(d) If the fault occurs again, continue the trouble shooting procedure.
(4) If the fault continues:
(a) Remove DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] and DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001.
(b) Do a check and repair the wiring between:
(d) Do the test given in Para. 3.
5. Close-up(1) If there is confirmation of the fault:
(a) Replace DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001 and AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(c) Make an entry into the logbook to monitor the aircraft during the subsequent flight.
(d) If the fault occurs again, continue the trouble shooting procedure.
(2) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001 and AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(c) Make an entry into the logbook to monitor the aircraft during the subsequent flight.
(d) If the fault occurs again, continue the trouble shooting procedure.
(3) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace the
ASM 256301.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(c) Make an entry into the logbook to monitor the aircraft during the subsequent flight.
(d) If the fault occurs again, continue the trouble shooting procedure.
(4) If the fault continues:
(a) Remove DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] and DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001.
(b) Do a check and repair the wiring between:
- Pushbutton switch (3WP) connector A/B3 and DIR-CIDS (101RH/102RH) connector AB/D14
ASM 256301.
(d) Do the test given in Para. 3.
