3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 23-73-00-710-346-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test for the Pax Call Lamps / Lavatory Call Lights
   (1) Do the CIDS1/SIGN LAMP test through the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-710-033.
NOTE: An erroneous class 3 fault message will be recorded for each LED PAX CALL LAMP (without bulbs), if the test of the related lamps is not deactivated in the CAM.
   (2) Push the Call Button in the related lavatory to make sure that the related Pax Call Lamp / Lavatory Call Light comes on.
Subtask 23-73-00-710-346-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
   (1) Do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up Test via the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-740-005.
   (2) Do the Operational Test of the Cabin LED Lamps via the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-710-035.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 23-73-00-810-677-A
A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
Subtask 23-73-00-810-678-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. If the CIDS1/SIGN LAMP test gives the maintenance message PAX CALL LAMP LAV X and the lamp does not come on:
NOTE: X identifies the location of the affected lavatory.
   (1) If the fault continues:
  • do a check for 28 VDC with a MULTIMETER - STANDARD at the related DEU-A between the related pairs of connectors given below:
    Connectors C/7 and C/18 or
    Connectors C/9 and C/19 or
    Connectors C/11 and C/20 ASM 237307, ASM 237318 and ASM 237319.
     (a) If there is approx. 28 VDC:
  • do a check and repair the wiring if necessary between the:
Pins 1 and 2 of the related Pax Call Lamp / Lavatory Call Light and the related DEU-A pairs of connectors given below:
    Connectors C/7 and C/18 or
    Connectors C/9 and C/19 or
    Connectors C/11 and C/20 ASM 237307, ASM 237318 and ASM 237319.
     (b) If there is no 28 VDC:
Subtask 23-73-00-810-678-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. If the test confirms the fault:
   (1) If the fault continues:
  • do a check for 28 VDC with a MULTIMETER - STANDARD at the related DEU-A connector at the signal names:
Call L.1 OUT and DC GND
    ASM 237307, ASM 237318 and ASM 237319.
     (a) If there is approx. 28 VDC:
  • do a check and repair the wiring if necessary between the:
DEU-A (200RHxx) and the related Pax Call Lamp / Lavatory Call Light with the signal names:
CALL L.1 OUT and DC GND.
    ASM 237307, ASM 237318 and ASM 237319.
     (b) If there is no 28 VDC:
Subtask 23-73-00-810-679-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. If the CIDS1/SIGN LAMP test gives the maintenance message PAX CALL LAMP XX and the lamps come on, no other maintenance action is necessary.
NOTE: An erroneous class 3 fault message will be recorded for each LED PAX CALL LAMP (without bulbs), if the test of the related lamps is not deactivated in the CAM.
5. Close-up
Subtask 23-73-00-710-350-A
