3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 23-73-00-710-320-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
   (1) Do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up Test via the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-740-005.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 23-73-00-810-650-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.

B. If the test confirms the fault:
   (1) Do a reset:
     (a) Make sure that at least one cabin door is open.
     (b) Open these CBs:
  • 49VU: 150RH COM/CIDS/DIR ESS/1
  • 49VU: 157RH COM/CIDS/DIR ESS/2
  • 49VU: 15WH AIR COND/CIDS/SDF/DIR 1 ESS
  • 49VU: 18WH AIR COND/CIDS/SDF/DIR 2 ESS
  • 121VU: 151RH COM NAV/CIDS/DIR NORM/1
  • 121VU: 156RH COM NAV/CIDS/DIR NORM/2
  • 122VU: 14WH AIR COND/CIDS/SDF/DIR NORM/2
  • 122VU: 17WH AIR COND/CIDS/SDF/DIR NORM/1.
     (c) Wait for approx. 10 s and close the CBs 156RH, 157RH, 14WH and 18WH.
     (d) Stop for approx. 120 s.
     (e) Do the test again with CIDS 2 in Active mode.
       1 If the fault continues:
         a Replace the FAP [120RH] AMM 23-73-12-000-007 and AMM 23-73-12-400-007.
       2 If the test is OK:
         a Replace DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001 and AMM 23-73-34-400-001
   (2) If the fault continues:
     (a) Do a check and repair the wiring between:
  • DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] connector AA/5A and FAP [120RH] connector A/1
  • DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] connector AA/5B and FAP [120RH] connector A/2
  • DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] connector AA/13C and FAP [120RH] connector A/3
  • DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] connector AA/13D and FAP [120RH] connector A/4.
5. Close-up
