   (1) Do the CIDS BITE test through the CFDS.

   (1) Do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up test through the CFDS.

4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.

B. If the CIDS1 BITE test gives the maintenance message ATTND PNL AFT:
  • make sure that at least one cabin door is open,
  • make sure that the EMER LT (4WL) switch is in the OFF position,
  • open these CBs:
    49VU: 150RH (G01) COM DIR ESS/1
    49VU: 157RH (G02) COM DIR ESS/2
    121VU:151RH (M06) CIDS/DIR NORM/1
    121VU:156RH (M07) CIDS/DIR NORM/2,
  • wait for approx. 10 s and close the CBs 156RH and 157RH.
  • stop for approx. 120 s,
  • do the CIDS2 BITE test.
   (1) If the CIDS2 BITE test does not give the message ATTND PNL AFT:
     (a) If the fault continues:

  • do a check and repair the wiring between the:
    DEU-B (300RH5) connector C/30 and AAP (126RH) connector A/1,
    DEU-B (300RH5) connector C/31 and AAP (126RH) connector A/2,
    DEU-B (300RH5) connector C/14 and AAP (126RH) connector A/4,
    DEU-B (300RH5) connector C/15 and AAP (126RH) connector A/5,
    DEU-B (300RH5) connector C/10 and AAP (126RH) connector A/7,
    DEU-B (300RH5) connector C/8 and AAP (126RH) connector A/8,
    AAP (126RH) connector C/6 and GND ASM 237310.

B. If the test confirms the fault:

  • do a check and repair the wiring between:

    DEU-B connector C/23 and AAP connector A/8,
    AAP connector A/3 and GND.
