A. Test
   (1) Do the CIDS BITE test through the CFDS.

   (2) Make sure that at least one cabin door is open.
   (3) Make sure that all seat-row numbering lamps come on.

A. Test
   (1) Do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up test through the CFDS.

A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.

B. If all seatrow numbering lamps do not come on:
  • make sure that at least one cabin door is open,
  • make sure that the EMER LT (4WL) switch is in the OFF position,
  • open these CBs:
    49VU: 150RH (G01) COM DIR ESS/1
    49VU: 157RH (G02) COM DIR ESS/2
    121VU:151RH (M06) CIDS/DIR NORM/1
    121VU:156RH (M07) CIDS/DIR NORM/2,
  • wait for approx. 10 s and close the CBs 156RH and 157RH.
  • stop for approx. 120 s,
  • do the CIDS BITE test again.
   (1) If the test is OK:
     (a) If the fault continues:
  • do a check and repair the wiring between the:
    DIR-CIDS 101RH connector AA/A9 and SDAC1 connector AB/9G,
    DIR-CIDS 101RH connector AA/B9 and SDAC1 connector AB/9H ASM 237303.
   (2) If the test is not OK:
  • do a check and repair the wiring between the:
    DIR-CIDS 101RH connector AA/A9 and SDAC1 connector AB/9G,
    DIR-CIDS 101RH connector AA/B9 and SDAC1 connector AB/9H,
    DIR-CIDS 102RH connector AA/A9 and SDAC1 connector AB/9G,
    DIR-CIDS 102RH connector AA/B9 and SDAC1 connector AB/9H ASM 237303.

    DIR-CIDS 102RH connector AA/A9 and SDAC1 connector AB/9G,

  • wait for approx. 10s and close the CBs 156RH and 157RH.
  • stop for approx. 120s.
  • do the CIDS Interphone and Power-Up test again.
   (1) If the test is OK:
