A. Test
(1) Do the CIDS BITE test through the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-740-005.
(2) Open this CB for approx. 10 s then close it again:

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 23-73-00-810-070-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.

Subtask 23-73-00-810-544-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. If the CIDS BITE test gives the maintenance message NO CAM DATA:

make sure that at least one cabin door is open,
make sure that the EMER LT (4WL) switch is in the OFF position,
open these CBs:
49VU: 150RH (G01) COM DIR ESS/1
49VU: 157RH (G02) COM DIR ESS/2
121VU:151RH (M06) CIDS/DIR NORM/1
121VU:156RH (M07) CIDS/DIR NORM/2,
wait for approx. 10 s and close the CBs 156RH and 157RH.
stop for approx. 120 s,
do the CIDS2 BITE test.

(1) If CIDS2 BITE test does not give the maintenance message NO CAM DATA:

(a) If the fault continues:

C. Install the removed DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
