A. Test
(1) Do the CIDS BITE test through the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-740-005.
(2) Open this CB for approx. 10s and then close it again:

(1) Do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up test through the CFDS.

4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.

B. If the CIDS BITE test gives the maintenance message CAM:

make sure that at least one cabin door is open.
make sure that the EMER LT (4WL) switch is in the OFF position.
open these CBs:
49VU: 150RH COM DIR ESS/1,
49VU: 157RH COM DIR ESS/2,
121VU: 151RH CIDS/DIR NORM/1,
121VU: 156RH CIDS/DIR NORM/2.
wait for approx. 10s and close the CBs 156RH and 157RH.
stop for approx. 120s,
do the CIDS2 BITE test.

(1) If the CIDS2 BITE test does not give the maintenance message CAM:

(a) If the fault continues:

replace the PROGRAMMING AND TEST PANEL [110RH] AMM 23-73-18-000-001 and AMM 23-73-18-400-001.

B. If the test confirms the fault:

replace the CAM MODULE-CABIN ASSIGNMENT [115RH] AMM 23-73-19-000-002 and AMM 23-73-19-400-002.

(1) If the fault continues:

C. Install the removed DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
