A. Test for the RTS signs with bulbs
(1) Do the CIDS1/CIDS SIGN LAMP test through the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-710-033.
Subtask 23-73-00-710-059-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do the CIDS1/CIDS SIGN LAMP test through the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-710-033.
NOTE: An erroneous class 3 fault message will be recorded for each LED NS/FSB and RTS sign (without bulbs), if the test of the related signs is not deactivated in the CAM.
(2) Set the SEAT BELTS switch to the ON position and make sure that the sign lamp comes on. A. Test
(1) Do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up Test via the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-740-005.
(2) Do the Operational Test of the Cabin LED Lamps via the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-710-035.
Subtask 23-73-00-710-302-A (1) Do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up Test via the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-740-005.
(2) Do the Operational Test of the Cabin LED Lamps via the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-710-035.
B. Test for the LED RTS signs (without bulbs)
4. Fault IsolationNOTE: An erroneous class 3 fault message will be recorded for each LED NS/FSB and RTS sign (without bulbs), if the test of the related signs is not deactivated in the CAM.
(1) Set the SEAT BELTS switch to the ON position and make sure that the sign lamp comes on. Subtask 23-73-00-810-060-A
A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
Subtask 23-73-00-810-172-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL B. For RTS signs with bulbs:
If the CIDS1/CIDS SIGN LAMP test gives the maintenance message RTS LAMP LAV X and the lamp does not come on:
Subtask 23-73-00-810-619-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL If the CIDS1/CIDS SIGN LAMP test gives the maintenance message RTS LAMP LAV X and the lamp does not come on:
NOTE: X identifies the location of the affected lavatory.
- replace the related RTS lamp AMM 23-73-62-000-001 and AMM 23-73-62-400-001.
- do a check for 28 VDC between pins 1 and 2 on the
LIGHT PNL (581RHx) ASM 237313 and ASM 237315.
- replace the
LIGHT PNL (581RHx) AMM 23-73-46-000-001 and AMM 23-73-46-400-001.
- do a check for 28 VDC at the DEU-A 200RHxx between connectors C/18 and C/22.
- do a check and repair the wiring if necessary between the:
DEU-A 200RHxx connector C/22 and the LIGHT PNL 581RHx pin 1,
DEU-A 200RHxx connector C/18 and the LIGHT PNL 581RHx pin 2 ASM 237313 and ASM 237315.
- replace the
DEU-A (200RHxx) AMM 23-73-46-000-001 and AMM 23-73-46-400-001.
C. For LED RTS signs (without bulbs):
If the RTS sign does not come on:
Subtask 23-73-00-810-172-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL If the RTS sign does not come on:
- replace the related PSU 596RHx AMM 23-73-62-000-006 and AMM 23-73-62-400-006.
NOTE: X identifies the location of the affected lavatory.
(1) If the fault continues:- do a check for 28 VDC at the DEU-A 200RHxx between connectors C/18 and C/22.
- do a check and repair the wiring if necessary between the:
DEU-A 200RHxx connector C/22 and the PSU 596RHx connector A pin D,
DEU-A 200RHxx connector C/18 and the PSU 596RHx connector A pin B ASM 237313 and ASM 237315.
- replace the
DEU-A (200RHxx) AMM 23-73-46-000-001 and AMM 23-73-46-400-001.
D. If the test confirms the fault:
Subtask 23-73-00-810-619-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - replace the related RTS sign AMM 23-73-62-000-001 and AMM 23-73-62-400-001.
- replace the related DEU-A AMM 23-73-46-000-001 and AMM 23-73-46-400-001.
E. If the fault continues:
Subtask 23-73-00-810-173-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - do a check and repair if necessary the wiring between the related DEU-A connector and the RTS sign at the signal names:
FSB-SIGN
DC GND
ASM 237313
ASM 237314.
F. If CIDS1/CIDS LAMP test gives the maintenance message RTS LAMP LAV x but the lamp comes on:

- replace the
DEU-A (200RHxx) AMM 23-73-46-000-001 and AMM 23-73-46-400-001.
G. Do the test given in Para. 3.A./ 3.B.
