   (1) Do the CIDS/DEU-A test through the CFDS (via CIDS1).

   (1) Do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up test through the CFDS.

4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.

B. If the test gives the "DEU A fault" message again and again, refer "PCU unit fault"

B. If the test gives the "DEU A fault" message again and again, refer "PISA unit fault"

C. If the CIDS1/DEU-A test gives the maintenance message DEU-A 200RHxx:
  • make sure that at least one cabin door is open,
  • make sure that the EMER LT (4WL) switch is in the OFF position,
  • open these CBs:
    49VU: 150RH (G01) COM DIR ESS/1
    49VU: 157RH (G02) COM DIR ESS/2
    121VU:151RH (M06) CIDS/DIR NORM/1,
    121VU:156RH (M07) CIDS/DIR NORM/2,
  • wait for approx. 10 s and close the CBs 156RH and 157RH,
  • stop for approx. 120 s,
  • do the CIDS/DEU-A test (via CIDS2).
   (1) If the CIDS2/DEU-A test is OK:
   (2) If the fault continues:
     (a) If the coding switch position(s) is (are) not correct:
  • make an adjustment of the related coding switch(es).
     (b) If the coding switch position(s) is (are) correct:
       1 If the fault continues:
         a If the fault continues:
  • do a check for
    28VDC at DEU mount 2010VUxx connector A/8,
    28VDC at DEU mount 2010VUxx connector A/5,
    GND at DEU mount 2010VUxx connector A/7,
    ASM 237306, ASM 237307 and ASM 237308
    and repair the wiring if necessary.

C. If the fault continues:
   (1) If the coding switch position(s) is (are) not correct:
  • make an adjustment of the related coding switch(es).
   (2) If the coding switch position(s) is (are) correct:
     (a) If the fault continues:
       1 If the fault continues:
  • do a check for 28VDC at the related Connection Box 208RHxx or Termination Box 209RHxx connector A/8,
    connector A/5 and connector A/8,
    and
    GND signal at connector A/7,
    ASM 237306, ASM 237307 and ASM 237308
    and repair the wiring if necessary.
