B. If the loud speaker at the Captain station does not operate:
  • Do a check of the circuit breaker C/B-CAPT/LOUD/SPKR [5WW] status.
   (1) If the circuit breaker is closed:
  • Do a check for 28VDC at pin A/A of the LOUD SPEAKER-CAPT [7WW] ASM 315101.
     (a) If there is 28VDC:
       1 If the fault continues:
       2 If the fault continues:
       3 If the fault continues:
  • Do a check of the wiring from the AMU [1RN] pins AA/8J, 8H to the LOUD SPEAKER-CAPT [7WW] pins A/C, G ASM 235102.
a If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the above wiring.
         b If there is continuity:
  • Do a check of the wiring from:
    . The AMU [1RN] pin AA/8G to the POT-LOUD SPEAKER, CAPT [15RN1] pin A/3
    . The LOUD SPEAKER-CAPT [7WW] pin A/F to the POT-LOUD SPEAKER, CAPT [15RN1] pin A/1
  • Repair the above faulty wiring.
     (b) If there is no 28VDC:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin A/B of the LOUD SPEAKER-CAPT [7WW] ASM 315101.
1 If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the wiring from the LOUD SPEAKER-CAPT [7WW] pin A/B to the ground terminal ASM 315101.
2 If there is a ground signal:
  • Do a check of the wiring from the LOUD SPEAKER-CAPT [7WW] pin A/A to the circuit breaker C/B-CAPT/LOUD/SPKR [5WW] ASM 315101.
a If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the above wiring.
         b If there is continuity:
  • Replace the circuit breaker C/B-CAPT/LOUD/SPKR [5WW] .
   (2) If the circuit breaker is open:
  • Close it.
     (a) If it opens again:
       1 If the fault continues:
  • Do a check for a short to ground at the wiring from the LOUD SPEAKER-CAPT [7WW] to the circuit breaker C/B-CAPT/LOUD/SPKR [5WW] ASM 315101.
a If there is a short to ground:
  • Repair the above wiring.
b If there is no short to ground:
  • Replace the circuit breaker C/B-CAPT/LOUD/SPKR [5WW] .
